I wish all the Lovepedal boxes came with the "no-click" switch like the Eternity's and the Mini's have. I have an Eternity Burst with that switch and a Kalamazoo with the regular old clicker. Kinda bums me out. Lovepedal OWNS, though.

I just got this pedal for my strat with Alnico II's and a maple board, it sounds amazing running it into my Fender CVR, and My JSX mini with a low gain preamp tube, Custom 1x10 combo cab with eminence ramrod set fairly clean. Both of these amps tend to be on the bright side when running clean, and EQ'd to their optimum. It also sounds great as a smooth Jazz lead boost on my Jarrett Zaffiro. If you want to burn but not fizz with your strat, push but not icepick, then this is Pedal is amazing

Would it be accurate to say these get a sort of Tweed to Brownface Fender crunch? It's like midrange-y and saggy in a really cool way, and I don't know what else Lovepedal could've been going for here. Great sound, at any rate!

So what's the deal with this pedal and humbuckers? I don't have a lot of pedal experience, but love the sound of a Les Paul and will definitely be going down the blues path. I did try a TS but there was low end loss, which changes the guitar sound character and I definitely don't want that! But will a Kanji end up being way too muddy? If so, what kind of low-mid gain overdrive pedal would be best for me? (I'd love to try 'em all, but these aren't even sold where I live, so I have to order ONE).

@joshdakilla The new Lovepedal Kalamazoo is brighter and less midrange, ideal for HB guitars or you might try the various Jetter pedals like the Gain Stage Red or the Rockett Animal is a fav here. Good Luck!

Does anyone know if the Kanji or Kanji 9 works well with an OCD (also use a Pork Loin and an old 70's Big Muff). It sounds great in the demo's with the Kanji classic, but I've seen some negative comments too and you can't find one to try out in a store. Might a COT or a Purple Plexi work better to drive the OCD? (I play a Strat through a HotRod).

I seen Mayer's pedal collection a youtube vid called "in repair recording session". He owns everything its insane lol. I think you could get the tone out of this pedal cause it has that transparent style like the TS9 as well.

Its a open plexi type of breakup but not the shred legato lead work type of OD.

I just received this from Proguitarshops and I have to say the transparency is amazing. A strat sounds like a strat, a tele like a tele, a paul like a paul, etc. It is one of those pedals that could stay on the whole time and sound amazing. Great pedal indeed.
