obviously he's not the singer because the singer is... a woman.. -_-

  • @ElphabaLUVFiyerro mike can be short for miken (or something)

  • @ElphabaLUVFiyerro Mike Oldfield is the person who wrote this song, not the singer. Mike Oldfield is a GUYS name

  • this makes me think about me and my stupid decisions i have made.. :/ but i love this song.

  • i just started knowing about this song minutes ago and i remember nobody would ever notice if i was gone i know nobody will ever see me asa superstar it makes me want to die but if i died i would miss this one boy i have loved for a few years i still and always will remember how i came nobody will ever choose me i know in the end i will never get loved by anybody if i was gone i bet almost nobody would notice.....

  • @RVesel376 it's not important if somebody noticed, you will be noticed by you legacy and if you bring sadness in the world the people will remember that if you want to be a superstar love yourself and share that with the world and the world will love you!

  • @Margit73 i think i know this now i have shown my inner superstar and the world has been not against me also the boy i like knows i love him i told him on the phone we were together alone (i didnt mean to make that rhyme btw) he stood up trying to get a person not to tell the secret cause another person knew he was elbowing him and covering his mouth i know he secretly likes me

  • @RVesel376 Ohhh this seem soo sad, I hope you haven't given up!! Life can be beautiful... :D And hey, don't ever give up, hang in there, you will find the one that will notice you and love you, I'm sure!!! Hugs to you... <3

  • @bjloveswk I havent gave up and ive found the perfect one for me i know he secretly loves me we have a tendance to tease eachother like bf and gf and i love being with him as he does me!

  • i love this song true classic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • still great song ! :)

  • songs like this will last for ever, a true classic, as enduring as Pachelbels canon in d...

  • I love this song so much :)

  • this was a tribute to john lennon

  • this song is real good and brings back memories and makes you think things thru and helps you decide wheter you want or dont want to do something and helps you relate to most the stuff you ask yourself and helps deal with problems you might have.

  • Fascinating song indeed...Anyone knows what does it mean the "hundred and five" phrase and why was sentenced this way?thx

  • @anytrader I think he's just referring to a large crowd gathered around the victim, ie 105 people!!!

  • I <3 it!!!!

  • god i so love thise song the techno version brought me here i love both versions and i have it stuck in my head being going around singing it

  • You guys... you guys... Music is music. That dude over there ndzordz has his point, old music is always good no matter what time it is, but then he miserably fails as he says new music sucks. If music has no ages, why does new suck? Have you ever heard any of those stunning trance melodies? The point in songs is the melody, no matter wether it is pop, rock, trance, house, whatever. If melody is cool, its a good song. If melody sucks, well, you have to get a really hot chick singing it then.

  • @LesPaulFelix I can agree with you on that there are good songs still being made today, but too few in my opinion. I can not however, agree with your statement: "The point in songs is the melody". What about the lyrics? I can't stand a lot of todays music just because of the lyrics, so much of the same shit. Seems like they've lost the ability of creating something original. But my point is; melody is not necessarily "the point" in songs, that actually do depend on the song.

  • @TheMrGhostly Well... you're comment made me think about what i had just said and i realized i didn't mean exactly that (and you're right). Lyrics are very important too. Back in days they were trying to sed a message written on a song form. But still, i think 21st century music still has a lot to give, even who knows, in few years everyone can go in an eighties fever and bring them back. Most unlikely to happen, i know, but its just an example. We should have more faith in days to come music.

  • @LesPaulFelix I think I would've enjoyed it quite much if people got into such a fever, and I guess I can agree with you about putting some more faith in the music to come.

  • the fast show

  • Strangely enough I heard this song just on Wednesday (September 14th, 2011) when coming back from the hospital after a test for something which could have a devastating impact on the rest of my life , or rather what may be left of it. I 'd heard it before but never paid attention, I only hope that the listening of it the other day is not prophetic.

  • Odd enough, this song is about John Lennon's death..I guess that's why it says "He was shot 6 times.".

  • Odd enough, this song is about John Lennon's death..I guess that's why it says "He was shot 6 time.".

  • Beaultiful

  • @WannabeJS- Thank you!

  • To me, this song encapsulates the tragedy of circumstance. It seems to suggest that the death of the boyfriend and her inability to reach him were just a tragic coincidence. I think what makes this song particularly saddening is the fact that the woman is unable to move on from his death... She's perpetually haunted by his memory and by thoughts of what she could have done had things been different. Either way, one of my favourite love songs.

  • @TashaRhi You just mind-fucked me into a coma-like state.. Well done good sir, well done.

  • @TashaRhi the way i see it is her memories hunting her while seeing her boyfriend beeing killed and she is helpless and therefore feels she can't reach him.

  • Quando Sobes ao Relvado,

Terás Sempre a Curva ao Teu Lado,

  • i have always liked this song

  • Aww this makes me cry x

  • GOD I LOVE THIS SONG!!!

  • song of my life

  • Crimen Sollicitationis

  • I'm 15 years old and i love this songs even if it is old...

NOrmally i just listen to usher & beyonce songs 21 centuries song.. but ilove this song very much

  • @citizengirl1995 It is ok, age is not important in the music. You made a big mistake saying this song is old but you still like it. Good music never gets old. I think young people don't listen to good music because they think it is "old". But, it is shame there is no music anymore. There is only rhythm and some computer-made 10 notes that are repeating 3 minutes and some computer-made voice producing some notes that not contain harmony. But 21 century "music" is your choice :))

  • @ndzordz yes, feels alike)

  • @ndzordz totaly agree with you i'm 16 years old i like most of the music i hear it doesn't mather if it's the "new" music or the " old " as long as it's good it's good

  • @ndzordz I don't really think so. It's just the mass. I'm sixteen years old now and I always loved "old" songs. I listen to opera, classic, etc. So there are still enough people my age who like this music, they are just too afraid to admit it, because it would make them "not cool". I couldn't care any less, I'm happy about what I listen to. More people should admit it.

  • i think i like the remix better...

  • <33333 Thanks!

  • what beautifull song ...

  • @1994Robban1994 Jeg føler med dig.:/

  • @1994Robban1994 Føler med deg :(

  • Maggie Reilly does the lyrics. wikipedia . org / wiki / Moonlight _ Shadow

  • Sorry for not being educated on this but I'm confused. It says its by Mike Oldfield yet I can hear a woman singing. So, is this Mike doing something instrumental? eg. guitar. Is he the composer? Is this a cover of his song? Is he just a man with a really high-pitched voice?..is Mike infact a shortened version of a female name?... I sound like an idiot I know, but I just want the details

  • @MegaMcClarey Don't worry, Mike Oldfield plays the guitar in this song and I also believe he is the composer. The singer is Maggie Reilly, who provided the vocals for a couple of his songs back in the eighties. It's easy to get confused, but no matter how confusing it can be: the song is undeniably brilliant.

  • i pressed the wrong video, but i stayd cuz i liked this version :D

  • E' Bellissima *-*

  • I love this song... it makes me cry...

  • @Lolingsomuch i remember singing this with my mum now it makes me cry

  • I still can't find the meaning with this line: "Caught in the middle of a hundred and five." Can anybody help me?

  • @MPbmfm

What the actual meaning is? Pretty much up to the listener? To me it evokes the Interstate 105. possibly the best driving song ever.

  • Eccellente. I have just shared this with mia ragazza in Italia (My g/f in Italy)

  • where do i know this song from ???? its like it was stored in my brain for years

  • @unskeptable It could be from 'Dave Angel' in 'The Fast Show'

  • 37 morons dislike this song :-( ... I can`t understand why!!

  • love this song ir meke me happy when im sad:)

  • Hi Luk710, So the voice belongs to Maggie Reilly. I used to wonder why Mike Oldfield has female voice! Thanks for your info. God bless you!

  • Hi, JYY7YYB1, thanks for your info. God bless you!
