@TheMrBrown96 the way i bit him was with uppercut. you jump behind him and press high punch twice and then you do uppercut. then you jump forward to him and press down and block because he will try to use the hammer. once you block the hammer do upper cut and continue doing the same thing again and again it worked for me.

Easily in the top 5 worst boss battle's in gaming history. With the update's Raiden's teleport pauses's, you can't counter Kahn's projectile spamming at all unless you're lucky or cop out and do the fight in beginner mode. That is not how a boss battle should be, you shouldn't have to spam to counter spam and fiddle with difficulty just to make it semi-fair. Whoever designed this fight, needs to be demoted immediately with a pay cut.

Funny that while staying a good distance from him is a great idea, i didn't need to do that. I used his teleport or I'll get close to him on wake up and jump over him, because he tries to attack you whenever your close, no matter what. It's not a full proof strategy, because you can occasionally get hit, but it worked out for me.

I did not notice you could change difficulity settings. I seem to have "normal" and it is %¤#!" annoying. That f*ck almost never laughs and most of the time you try teleport and upperpunch hit him, it will cost him energy, but he will not fly back and he will counterattack me. READDDD....For everybody who is stuck on this fight! 1. Go to the main menu, go on options then go on game (i think thts wat its called) go on difficulty and lower it down to begginer or easy 2. Use lightning and stay a good distance away from him. if he gets too close use electric fly. A little practice on the game and you would of done it in no time! Like this so it can be on the top comments, so it can help people out. hope it works out for you!

Must be on easy :( I have done similar but alot more close kombat but with quick teleport and 3 kick combos instead of uppercuts the odd dive and x-ray and still havent beat him, had rounds where i played well better than this and only won one of the three rounds... xbox d-pads REALLY dont help tho... theres been a few where i'd have had him both rounds if the d-pad never fucked me over... nice one for the tips though

Okay 1st of all this is one beginner and i've only been able to beat him on medium as the highest difficulty i can take him with, in arcade mode,the best to beat shoa kahn are Noob Saibot,Raiden,Kratos,Sub-Zero and i think a couple more, but raiden being the thunder god and all isnt very powerful(no wonder Liu Kang beat him :p

i spent all night yesterday trying to beat shao kahn and im glad i did it after 2 damn hours.. fucking raiden and shao kahn i still hate them both.. raiden has no cool moves and i hate his screaming when he launches himself and i hate shao kahns hammer and cheapest way of fighting.. but i have to say there is such thing as "beating shao kahn" but Freddy Krueger, Kratos, and Quan chi are much much better :)

My list of problems with this game

1 All the enemies fight like 12 year olds and spam the same attack or button over and over

2 You never fight any of the bosses, you just spam an attack because if you don't do the cheapest thing possible actually beating them is ridiculously hard

3 The combos for me atleast are really hard to pull off in they involve RT or any arrows
