@kw9897 the "tip tronic" in the autos always experience lag. the manuals do not. neither is better than the other, but this is a Z. not a Maxima or a G sedan. a sports car is meant for a manual especially the Z unless the wifey wears the pants in the marriage.
the shaker system in the mustang is much better and has more base than this, the base model 550w has two 8 inch subs, one in each door, you could just imagine the shaker 1000w model.
@ManRossDamn 370z isn't an automatic car. It's a manual with down shift Rev- match, it just means that if you're in 5th gear and want to go to fourth, you don't have to slow down but instead just put ur foot on the clutch, and the car will rev match ur rpm to to the 4th gear. How is this possible? Research it.
Ehehehe nice sound system man... my dad has got ur same Bose System in our Saab 93.... and it sounds reaaaaaly good it's perfect when u go around for the city with a powered and great sound system especially on a nice car. we have 6 speakers and one subwoofer hidden in the trunk.... it's VERY POWERFUL! i love our sound system and BOSE... IT'S A GOOD CHOICE and i suggest it to all my friends.

okay how do you get your stereo and instruments to turn on without your car running? I can't figure out how to turn on my radio even if i have my key with me
ah ok, yah I test drove one for about 30 mins back in January and just loved the sound from the tail pipes but never much worried about turning on the stereo! :) These are pretty rare around my town, look great take care of it!

I was kind of disappointed that Nissan chose Bose over some of the other (if not better) speakers brand. If they had chosen Bower and Wilkins, then *high pitch scream* Hahaha! I mean, even Bugati Veyron chose to put them in their cars. Hell, even Boston acoustics or Harmon Kardon would do fine, Bose is a trick speakers made out of cheap parts. All of the engineering designs that went into it is the cost. The Veyron, imo wasn't design as a luxury/sports car, but as a sports car only. So it would be safe to say that B&W wouldn't costs as much as Bose, beside the costs of Bose is overpriced! Compare to B&W, Bose is more of a trick/design speakers with no real power.

@pcfxer I guess it's just my preference, since I had a Bose surround sound it's clear and all, but it doesn't have that much depth. So I got a pair B&W Nautilus front speakers and I was in love with them, my buddy also had a custom B&W in his car with amp/sub. I guess it's all depends on how you set up your system, I mean you can have speakers that are really well, but if the power source sucks then you're not gonna get anything out of them. However Bang & Olufsen is the best by far.
@Leolee88 Just a cord from the aux to the ipod. some Z's wont have that kidna system though, this one has about 6 bose speakers in the cabin and then a subwoofer in the trunk. all stock

Stock sound is great. It rocks and your mirrors will shake. The greatest sound comes from a Z with a good exhaust system.

Also everything I've heard from B&W is poor, headphones, iPod system, old DM800s...everything yucky. I'll keep my Open Baffles anyday.
