what i love about this scene is that when he looks through the battle field he truly realizes who he is and that matter how far he runs or how much he denies it nothing will ever change that.

because of this realization he comes full circle and decides it's time to go home

the missionaries went to burma hoping to make a difference there, although they may not have changed anything over there they definitely saved a mans soul, and that alone may have made the trip worth it

Good film, i like the Rambo quadrilogy. Certainly the most realistic film of the four as far as blood and guts go! The sound and power of that armour piercing gun is unbelievable as it cuts through the trees like as though they werent there. Nice music at this part of the film showing the human suffering and strife, yet hope with the one man army!
