  • You are completely right of course there is life out there and of course it must be adapted to its envriroment to exist

  • im most curious about how they interact together. I wonder if they have economics or politics like we do

  • Comment removed by US goverment.

  • @INMATE2468 No it wasn't.

  • he kinda looks like one

  • Just an afterthought...might be fun to create a set of circumstances and see what people would think could live in those circumstances. I bet you would get a lot of fun responses to read.

  • fun to think about, I am sure regardless of atmosphere, light radiation, gravity all alien life forms would have 1 thing in common, that is....drum roll...stereoscopic sensory organs (antennas, eyes, ears, or whatever) so that they may triangulate and focus on an external event (food, danger, energy) I think this must be a constant for any physical creature so that it may adapt (wit some degree of precision) to external events...aside from that my wife would probably think they are cute.

  • @immolateus Good observation, most top creatures on Earth are predators who need to focus on one thing intently, but I'm sure something out there will be an exception to that rule. There is always an exception to every rule. I bet there is even something out there that isn't DNA based (maybe one thing) :) I wonder if they have emoticons??

  • @jag9998 I wonder if they brew their own beer....hmmm could be the measure of an advanced civilization

  • dont care bout da size of da universe prove to me aliens exist?

  • @madwestboy I will if you prove to me that electrons exist.

  • @CraigTube eletrons? dey exsist.....well....i do care about da size if im intrested in ET.its just dat we could find ET better dan findin da size of da universe. (please excuse my spellin some of my buttions dont work)

  • @madwestboy Well there are limits to how far we can explore. But we will explore because at the core of our being, we know that we can't be alone in this endless abyss. Bottom line is, we know there's life out there, we just have to find it.

  • Astronomers need to stop looking for planets just in the goldy lock zone because like you said some could have resistance to extreme cold or extreme hot. I dont get why they dont consider that.

  • @0Anthony16 I'm sure they do. They probably just don't get Government funding to look in places where they may actually find anything, if you get my drift.

  • @0Anthony16 some technology might give you cold/hot-restistance, but life needs a certain frame of circumstances to develope. and theres far more extreme places then places like the earth, you would search forever.

  • On the mark again; and you could also imagine creatures that instead of eating; simply take a "sunshine" break during the day to absorb energy. A thick atmosphere and light gravity would indeed allow them to float through the air. No cars or airplanes on this world; they aren't needed. More limbs would be more efficient. A mouth directly on the opening of the stomach is a better design if they consumed matter. And they would not speak english of course; and might communicate using other means.

  • Oh, yes! They have eyes! You can see the big guy on my page. And he's showing his eyes well in this pix. He thrills me when he gives me such fascinating pixs of him!

  • what was the other video?

  • @DannySmith300 It's called "is there life on other planets". It's way at the bottom.

  • @CraigTube No, I mean the other video that you saw that you where talking about in this video.

  • @DannySmith300 Can you give a time index where I mentioned this video?

  • @CraigTube Nevermind, just found out you WHERE talking about your other video.

  • YOU ARE GREAT THANKS FOR THE VIDS

  • Subbed. Also, I agree that the sequence of events, especially in regards to evolution, that the idea of humans on other planets seems ridiculous, but what are your thoughts on a similar species? Take for example, technology. We have advanced technology as a means of survival, and a lot of that has been thanks to the accidental discovery of electricity. What do you think of a more tribal, less tecnological advanced species, possibly similar to primates, who have learned to survive without tech?

  • subbed :)

  • you smoke alot of the icky sticky, right?? ;)

  • Okay, how about this one: say aliens have been here since before humans (considering the amount of time we're talking about it's really not a far jump by any means. The Aliens would likely have a pretty good understanding of human behavior. So do you think they would eventually share their discoveries with us, knowing how we've handled technology before (all the wars, and destruction we've caused with it.) Also: could they even have the same morals as us, if any?

  • I believe ANYTHING is possible, with various degrees of likelihood. That said, I'm doubtful people are actually seeing UFOs. Still, I'm open to the possibility and am curious if you have any idea the likelihood that a species would have advanced that level of technology (to be able to travel that vast a distance.) Also, even if they had, I consider it unlikely that they would have any trouble hiding their presence from us if they were really that advanced.

  • @MovieMig4 Well, travelling through space is not as cut and dried as we think. I'm sure there are ways of getting around the light barrier. As far as hiding... without getting into too much detail, I think we could use a little help down here, to say the least. But that's a whole other topic that I won't get into publicly.

  • Your awesome i like ur thoughts. Just like my dad

  • Interesting Post

  • its impossible to find out the largest space volume or thing in space or the size of the universe so its the same for the smallest , name the smallest thing known to man, an atom? well whats that made up of? so how do we know we arnt in an atom or a part of the make up of an atom of some thing or living thing from something else or some where else? what do you think craig do a video on this or let me know your thoughts on the possibility of this? thanks

  • @jrgniuwer This is a good point. Fractals are an example of infinity existing inside a finite space. I used to say to my wife that we could be part of someone's sweater.

  • @CraigTube exactly who knows ? some may laugh at that point but its not really that funny if you look at the bigger picture if told someone from another planet the say didnt have trees and said on our planet we can put a tiny seed in the ground and it grows into a 50ft high tree they would laugh in your face but that happens, thanks craig im glad i found you on here gret vids im hooked good to find like minded people : )

  • mongrel madafaka makes jutúb slower

  • do you think that government has kept aliens from us or secrets relating to that?

  • @ThePlatinum12886 Absolutely!

  • genesis 1-26 god made man in his image, seed ,cattle, herbs, of his own kind

    god=alieon

  • This old guy is smart and thinks like I do on aliens

    Aliens would probably not have

    4 limbs

    a mouth

    2 eyes

    a face simular to human

  • Unless of course DNA is similar throughout the universe... A possibility I ran across after making the video. Now we really have a debate on our hands.

  • Yeah but they may not have any DNA

or like a difernt based DNA

  • I watched a video where this Dr. says that DNA came here from other planets, and that's how life took hold on earth. He claims that DNA is standard across the universe, and that there's only one type, with different parts switched on or off to create different species. Interesting.

  • @VhDVE yeah, they would adapt to their planet/habitat ..... i say we are being watched by aliens right now, but they are too far away to travel here ..... they see oiur planet as it was 1000 years ago muhahaha =)

  • Sorry but this guy is not thing logical and scientifically. There seems to be curtain laws and properties for intelligent life. So lets start with using Human origins to figure out what intelligent life would look like.

  • Have ever through that intelligent life goes through self metal stages. We Human just passed the first major stage. Think about it broadly. We all know intelligent Man is only about 30,000 years old. But it is only in the last century that we true pass a conscience stage. The stage of World War which started 1914 and ended 1989, which was ONE WORLD WAR. What if we wear the luck intelligent species to pass that critical stage? The next stage is environmental and culture war stage,

  • u need fingers to build spaceships and stuff. so cartoons and stuff r stupid

  • every night befor sleeping , i imagine that i have space ship that has 1milione times the speed of light and i travel on it to other life planets ..

  • easly ... they look like any other life creature ... i mean we did not see all creatures on earth ... like so many insects !! they are diffrent creatures ... simply thy are alyans ... you are right Craige

  • Personally I don't believe in the brain manipulation. Acuse me as a non believer or not it is just that that they would have to manipulate atoms with their minds. First off what would be manipulating the matter? What would be triggering the atoms to move? Do they give off some sort of field with their mind. NOw if it is a piece of technology that allows them to move via electro magents or something of the like I'll be more inclined to believe but until someone answers my question I don't believe

  • the most important reason most animals inculdig humas on earth. look like they do. is because of the nerve center. and the spine witch was quite early developed. its a simple "design". but its effectiv. and i think its like it could happen more then once in the universe.

  • I do not think an advanced civilzation would look humanoid at all..If they had mouths they may not be used for vocalization, having developed thought communication. Any grasping limbs they started with may not be as large or strong as they used to be having mastered manipulation of objects with their minds. You may be talking about a million yrs. or more of evolution....

P.S. Thanks Craig, you really get the imaginative juices flowing,

  • Im sure if aliens were real then they wouldnt look like us most likely they would look more like a octopus with tentacle things and im sure they dont use words but use frequency in their minds to communicate with one another... yea i know i might of watched Independence day a bit much but it would prolly look like that

  • Beings like monsters with big claws can not be able to construct space ships to travel in the universe...!

  • Exist the ligth because the eyes ...or exist the eyes because the ligth?

  • craig, just finished the second part of life/aliens in the universe...they both were interesting and sensible...I'm still on the bubble as far as your universe and beyond...

  • If they were intelligent they would need some sort of eyes (or EM spectrum receptors) and hands (or some means to manipulate the physical world in a complex manner). Both of those evolutionary developments, in addition to a complex set of protiens to create diverse neurochemistry, drove the evolution of the brain and supported intelligence as a factor of evolutionary superiority.

  • No, because not only would another planet's "sun" be brighter, or dimmer, it would have it's highest energy output at a different part of the electromagnetic spectrum. Remember, light is just the name we give to that part of the ES that WE can see. A bee can see ultraviolet, which is invisible to us. On another planet, the "sun" might be way hotter, causing it to emit the bulk of it's "light" above our visual frequency range. We would see little compared to those native to that planet.

  • Wouldn't it be a simple matter of the sensitivity of our eyes? The strongest signals we can see but in order to see the weaker ones we would simply need more sensitive eyes. In order to see smaller things in a microscope you need higher magnification / sensitivity.

  • ya know NASA has a theory that mars might have radiation resistant super bugs living in the topsoil of the planet

  • Hi craig, well it would depend on the environment, the atmosphere and other conditions. I think the scifi componant in movies of aliens always being humanoid is probably incorrect. I imagine some may have to sort of grasping limbs. One could look at all the fairly intelligent animals on this planet and come up with numerous anatomical shapes (octopuses, apes, monkeys, felines)

However, the species would be completely different just similar body types.

  • This life will be like a dream that we will forget when we wake up again in whatever form we take on next.

  • You know what happend before the big bang?

    A big crunch

You know what happend before the big crunch?

    A big bang

When it all comes down to it the Universe and everything in it is infinite and that everything is just reborn when it dies.

Also, imagination is one of the greatest gifts we have besides life itself.

  • I also just got a funny image of the racial egalitarians and multiculturalists diving down to the bottom of the ocean to tell all the diverse creatures there that they're being bigoted and hateful by only mating with their own kind. They encourage them all to cross breed and be "colorblind" and in a few generations they've wiped out all the rich diversity down there and replaced it with a dull uniformity. Thank christ these nuts can't survive down there.

  • Ha ha. I can see it now. The aliens come down to us and they're radically different to ourselves. Then the egalitarians set about trying to make them our equals. In Canada with its anti-discrimination and anti-hate laws it's illegal to point out the differences between us and the aliens or to criticise them as a group even if it's justified, the multiculturalists set about destroying the diversity they claim to celebrate by encouraging us to cross breed with the aliens.

  • True, and what is not life to you may very well be life to something else.

  • what is life to you may not be life to something else.

  • Hey George, get your Skype hooked up. Let's have a beer on the weekend.

  • I agree with you that there must be life out there. You have to be very shallow to think the Earth is the only planet in the universe that has life on it. Our government knows the truth but is hiding it from us!! There are more and more shows about UFO's on TV. I think in time we will know the truth.

  • The US government is covering up a lot of things, my friend. Some of the sightings are definitely our own technology.

  • I agree with you. I watched a show yesterday about this. They were saying we got the technology from the nazi's after WWII.

  • Very very, very smart. My brain hurts... But now I am a smarter human, because of you. What are your thoughts on alternate universes and the possibilities of time travel?

  • Those are very deep questions, as you know. Possible answers run through my mind all the time. Let me gather my thoughts on this and I will post a video. Thanks for the questions and the kind words. Let's let this cook for a while and see what comes out. :)

  • I agree man, I love your videos on things like this. You're so smart when it comes to thinking about the reality of life on other planets and so on.

    Maybe you're an alien....
