At the time, Henry ford had started selling tractors, he couldnt use the name ford for his tractors because There was already a different company called Ford selling tractors, So he badged them as Fordsons. (The name fordson was used in north america for his tractors until 1939, but their british line of tractors were called fordsons well into the 60's.
This is possibly the coolest, most badass machine I've ever seen. Consider my order placed.

Pretty amazing technology at the time I'm sure. But it looks like it could kill someone pretty easy too. Perhaps that's why it never quite caught on.
I'm wondering too what the history of "Fordson" is with Chevy. Does it have to do with Ford at all?
