  • I love this cartoon..and this song.....and in Japanese is fantastic!!!!!!!! :D

  • Is this from the Japanese dub? Is there a version of it on youtube that includes the animation?

  • Do you have any way to download this song? i've been looking every where and have come up cold T_T Love this song!

Japanese version trumps all! XP cause~ i say so and no one will change my mind!

    lol

  • Good.. but german version is better :)

  • I actually like this version, it's nice and soft.

  • German and Russian are better... by far...

  • :) You should try the finnish version too! I love it!

  • This is not a Disney movie.

  • I really like how in a country they translate everything into their own language. In my country, everyone can speak/understand English so nothing is translated into our language. Even when our language is really beautiful.

Gusto ko ng tagalog version nito >.< (I want a tagalog version of this)

  • I'm currently studing Japanese and I love the language, but somthing about this song just sounds... Off in this language . I personally like it better in French and Russian . :)

  • This just sounds off in japanese....

  • i love this version <3

I love Anastasia, and Japanese stuff thingy's..

    thanks for uploading ^-^

  • is there the japanese version of At The Beginning? :)

  • Beautiful, I love it in Japanese. :3 I sang along since I know japanese and it just shocked me how it went all together perfectly.

  • Who is the voice of Anastasia in japanese ?

  • I'd love to hear "In the dark of the night" in japanese. :i

But I just love to hear this kind of songs in different languages... It always amaze how so many people can have the same kind of voice all over the world. :P

  • @thinBillyBoy

/watch?v=33SBi6rmmsA (put it at the end of youtube.com) and you can hear the japanese version of "In the dark of the night".

  • arigato gozaimasu. :D

  • Yo Japanese singer I'm really happy for you, and imma let ya finish, but Italian version is the best version of all the time, of all the time!

  • @LaDySaLLyMoRt clever. silly one. we shall have a look at the italian one aswell

  • hmm i thought this song has to sound good in english but in german its still best *im german hehehe* and in russian it sounds better too ....

    :(

  • is there in the dark of the night in japanese? i really want to see...can you upload it?

  • Can someone upload "Paris Holds the Key to Your Heart" in Japanese? :<

  • This version reminds me so much to Ashita no Nadja~

  • Mmm... the singer doesn't sing badly, but the voice is shrill on my like.

  • @Mozart003 japanese don't have the same singing standard, they have their own scale, i think ahah

  • Så vackert! <3

    So beautiful! <3

  • i love it

  • I think this actually says 遠い記憶 in the second line

  • @sleepyreader42 I also think it's kioku / 記憶, it fits it better and there's no reason to repeat the concept of song twice

  • Nanika wo sukoshi omoidashi sou

    Tooi kyoku, natsukashii uta wo

    Sotto watashi wo daitekureru ude

Fubuki no yoru ni hito ha odori

Sazanami no you ni yasashiku yureteru

    Itsuka watashi ga sugoshita hibi

Omoidashite dou ka koto dou yo

    Tooi kyoku, natsukashii uta wo

    Omoidashite... watashi no koto wo...

  • @Nihonrocker are u sure its kyoku and not kioku? i mean, with the meaning of the song kioku would make sense

  • @pointeprincess302

You know, you're right. It's actually ambiguous. Unless you have the original script, there is no way to tell. Kyoku is "tune" and Kioku is "memory".

  • @Nihonrocker Although I think [I've studied a little tiny bit of Japanese but I may be wrong] it's kioku, because she pronounces it more like ki-o-ku, three syllables, rather than kyo-ku, which would be two syllables. But then again, it's a song, so it could just be the way it's sung~

  • @Nihonrocker Tooi kioku, not kyoku. Kyoku 局 is a channel, like a TV channel, kyoku 曲 is song with lyrics, but kioku 記憶 is a memory or memories. It wouldn't really make sense to say "far-away songs," or "far-off TV channels." xD

If she'd been saying kyoku, she wouldn't have pronounced it as ki-o-ku -- she'd have sung kyo-ku.

  • @beautifulXblues

    That's what I was thinking too :)

  • Yeah don't really like this version that much...the music is still enchanting though

  • I dont like the singer. The song is awesome, barely understand a word (but thanks to 3 years of watching anime i know a few easy words). But when the orchestra first starts she was suppose to raise her voice, instead it was the same strength as before.

  • Love it♥

  • <3 Such an amazing song~
