We're right next door in Idaho. Many of the reservoirs and lakes (and snake river) in the southwest portion of the state have carp. They don't get huge, but there are lots of them. . . Weather is turning cold here as well, but a long winter just builds my excitement for another spring! Thanks for posting!
Hey fishnkid--I didn't see where the string was on the reel. . . But if it was, it could be one reason why she missed. . . We were missing so many carp that day i'll use any excuse I can :)

at about 3:20 her string was on the reel..is that ok..or is that why she missed the fish..lol
