And stil had Michael Keaton in the role (around the same time as this movie he did Extreme Measures and he was easily bigger than Clooney, he wasn't huge or as big as Bale but he had some muscles on him). Or hell, whatever actor you want. Lets say we were given a Batman Begins or TDK-quality film. I think Arnold would have been PERFECT for Bane. His accent, his size, intelligence...

So give him Bale's suit or an even better one, give both Arnold and him several months of martial arts training even though Keaton already is a black belt in karate, and give them say the choreographer who did Taken, and you'd have a hell of a movie. Arnold's Bane would've kicked ass I bet

Which-as true to Batman's character they are staying-they are missing that surrealism that Tim Burton captured. But I think Tom Hardy's Bane will fucking rock. Just like how Michael Keaton just made and owned the Batman role against all odds, I think Hardy will pull it off.
