Thank you for the recipe, I have a question about blow torch, Are they anything else that you can use blow torch with cooking or baking beside Creme Brulee? I'd like to get one but I don't know if I can make use of this with other recipes. Thank you.

Made this for my mom. I didn't have a creme brule torch so I used my blow torch from my garage =D that didn't really work out too well but my mom still thought it was delicious. So did I. Great video. Also, that fucking vanilla pod was like 7$...

@kaiiiiifung .......yep he copied a video from three years ago from a random channel. Because Howdiniguru invented Creme Brulee and its not at all possible robjnixon knew the recipe before hand [/sarcasm]
For some recipes you will need to separate the vanilla beans. This is easy to do. Just place the vanilla beans you scraped from the pods on a cutting board, add in some sugar and mix well by scraping it back and forth with a spoon.
- Some people already commented on the way to split a vanilla pod, and they are quite right. It is much easier to split in halves by running the tip of your knife down the center, and you get to keep all fingers intact ;O)
