I will have to start on Book 1 of the Dark series. I wish I would've done my research first before reading the Dark Slayer first..bummer.

This is the only book where the female is a seasoned ancient warrior (Ivory) and the male (Razvan) has little actual battle experience. He's very cunning, though, and plans out battles wonderfully. Carpathian males are predators and they are naturally dominant as well as being protectors.  They learn as they go along.

@artamis2200 A movie wouldn't do much justice . A TV Show would be best . I have all her books and every single one of them is better than the predecessor . Having a TV show will bring forth all the characters and their story lines. I hope it will come true.

Absolutely loved this book, but then I've read and loved every book, every series Christine Feehan has ever written. I love how each character is his/her own little quirks. Eagerly awaiting Zacarias, Dominic, and Dmitri's story. Also can't wait to meet Ilya's brothers in the new Sea Haven Series. Love you Christine.....

Yeah im reading Dark Reunion, it's quite funny and good too. I've read Julians and aidans story, to gregori and lucian and Gabriel. And ive some more of the other books, but i gotta say, i like Gabriel and Lucians story most. They are super ancient and powerful... i want to read Dark slayer. Gotta go to barnes and noble.

I used to read these, but then they sort of turned ugly. The whole "oh! i just can't drink blood" thing gets VERY irritating. I loved Natalia, and thats about it. If they had more like her, Id go back to reading the books, Joie was cool, too. But then they had Mary Ann whom I hated, so I gave up.

a bit slow, just finished dark slayer. i'm SO anxious, pacing around, waiting for dark slayer to come in the mail. i hope its not like maryannes story. man! is anyone else curious about whats gonna happen to saras aunts?! what about dominic!? and dude! skylers story!! a little squeal escapes me everytime i think about skylers story!! i hope its exciting.

Well with times being what they are it the library for me. Next year when this is on sale or the paperback is out then maybe I'll be able to buy it. Have every books shes written but moneys too tight to be able to afford hardbacks. Sucks!

Geez,another Hardcover,I got my daughter addicted to the Dark Series and I always send her the latest book via snail mail cuz I'm on the East Coast and her on the West Coast and of late the books have been hardcover and with postage going up again it almost cost me more to send them than the actual book itself,looking to see if my library has Dark Slayer and if so I'm just renting it and will suggest the same thing to my daughter!

Does this trailer freak anyone else out? The eerie man's voice speaking in some freaky language sounds like a demonic person. What if "the voice" is cursing us all in some satanic language? If they took that out the trailer would be better.

The language does sound demonic and it would freak anyone out. If it's cursing us in a satanic language we will just have to be careful with things and people that are around us that will try to bring us harm. Did any read the first chapter? It's very good I can't wait to get the book and read it all next month.

I would not call this the best trailer out of

all the trailers. Dark Possession is the best trailer out of all the trailers and it also has a longer version out of all the trailers. The paperback comes out next year that's a long wait.

Yeah you can get the hardback from the library and buy the paperback next year. I buy few of the dark series hardback from walmart when they come out. The hardbacks list price are $25.95 but at walmart you can get it for $16.32.
