hmm well ryu seems to have many forms that he can tap into so maybe he can surprise everyone with a holy ryu form or if you feel that anger and hatred for a fallen comrade with a few memoirs of their friendship to add tension to it. Then ryu should become dark ryu and use the gatsu no hadou on kazuya and knock him out completely and ryu is about to finish him off but then he remembers what his friend would want out of him and would stop himself from finishing the job. this is one of my ideas.
