Never seen this before. As a Czech myself this is really moving. As someone who escaped Communism which later came to Czechoslovakia its a telling tale. As someone who has piano players in his family it reminds you of the history of it. The story of the Nazi occupations as well as others needs to be told and retold. She is right the composers of their time, and then what our parents listened to still stirs a lot of emotion in me anyway. Thanks Tony. Awesome that you show this to the rest of us.

One statement is very misleading...she didn;t write the book, the book is about her but two writers wrote it...I know because I ordered it and to my disapointment her name as a writer wasn't on the book. I wanted to see how well shoe wrote at the age of 104.

At age 108 fully present and aware, cognitive functions and speech, humor - very impressive. It´s all in mind it is taught but tho see this extreme example of abuse and torture of body, mind and soul, yet still she is happy and alive today. She "killed" even the cancer:-)
