I know there were some who were whinning when Jen got a perfect score here because Derek tapped her foot. This was a ranked dance and it did not have to be perfect, it just had to be the best of the 3, and it was. Even with the misstep it was elegant and showed Jen's journey. If you watch carefully you will see what Carrie Ann meant when she said Jen had a new wisdom on her body. Jen and Derek were the best by far!

Jennifer and Derek are the only ones the entire season to get perfect scores, except for week 9 when Brandy and Maks got one, and then were sent packing the same week. Which goes to show you that Jennifer and Derek are not only talented but had a wide fan base.

the sexual chemistry between the two of them is too obvious. they really like each other.

the people watching with me on tv felt it. i think everyone did including the judges.

i am so glad she won....so deserving.

@cafra1707 I agree, in fact if you look at her husband after this dance he doesn't look very happy (his isn't clapping like a proud man) and jennifer keeps looking in his direction. There was some definite tension there.

@kreegan85 I think it's because she's clearly in a lot of pain. If you notice at the very end, before they walk over to the judges, Derek looks like he's about to lift jennifer and then doesn't - i think her back was really bad. Her husband and all those close to her would have been anxious for her no doubt. JMHO

@24julyuk I am not trying to make this into something it's not, but that is not what I am seeing. Jennifer suffered through this whole season with aches and pains and pushed through and her husband had never looked or acted as nonchalant as he did after this dance, and he was the only one, everyone else was enthusiastic about the dance. Dereck was not trying to picker up he but merely gave her a hug. There was definitely some kind of tension there, but with no proof I will agree to disagree

@kreegan85 Just saw your post.Jennifer danced beautifully thru a great deal of pain.Her husband & JaimieLee Curtis were very much aware of the pain she was in & how long the nerve block she got would take effect & how long it was gonna last.. She did lose balance & her husband looked so uptight & really concerned after that. Derek looked like he wanted 2 lift her as he usually did, am sure he too felt she was in pain.IMO, it was more of concern for Jennifer's safety as opposed to anything else.

@RajaMCool But it wasn't a lift, she jumped, that's why CA doesn't count them sometimes. When the female jumps/hops and the male supports the landing, then it's not technically a lift. Derek didn't physically pick her up off the ground.

They had something NO ONE else did, at least not to the same intensity, and it's called CHEMISTRY! Been watching for years and have not seen anyone have that level of electricity between them, they try, but it's not quite so steamy. Proves age is just a number ;p

@TheGypsyGoddess we think derek really likes jennifer. he has a "crush" on her. derek never kissed his past dance partners...he held hands and hugged those women but he would kiss jennifer, hold hands and hug her. he is always complementing her costumes.

Wasn't there a lift right around 2:57. I am sure Carrie Ann must have seen it. I guess she thought that the dance was better than the other two dances even with the lift. BTW I am glad Jennifer won. She deserved it.

i dont like that they chose this dance AND another song from Dirty dancing for their freestyle. bringing the reason of her being famous again... we all know shes baby from dirty dancing, no need to show it so many times... (i know they didnt chose the song for viennese waltz, but they should have chosen a song not connected to dirty dancing for the freestyle)

I wouldnt like if a singer chose his/her song for a dance either...

I saw some major jealousy from those other finalists. I'm so glad Jen won because their attitudes were horrible. Lacey now changes her tune though. Too late. I can't believe they weren't happy for her after all she went through during this season and how hard she worked.
