When I see this movie and the policies of the ruler in the story, I am constantly reminded by NYC Mayor Bloomberg and his nanny state policies along with anyone in this country who is trying to shove nanny state policies down the people's throats. Substitute the name Cocteau with Bloomberg and it makes sense. The only difference is that Bloomberg would allow cursing since he is a New Yorker.
