I love this! You could replace the metal piston with a liquid piston and build it as a water pump. You'd just need a couple of one-way valves, like on a tire pump.
yes, i will try it soon, and for now i have found a 4 litres volume glass in my basement (1 galon)! i wish to get a slow frequency with a low temperature, and with a liquid piston it will be easier for everyone to do that ! see all my favorites to get more tips from many genious in resonant laminar at youtube
Nyle Steiner succeed to do that and i am still trying, it seems a lot more difficult as it look, i even experiment much difficulties to reproduce myself with a new piston and tube, so, GOOD LUCK to everyone trying tuning the frequency
Heayyy le 24 oct 2009 after a lot of work i have finnally build 2 resonant fluidynes, please go to see my number 2 : Resonant Fluidyne 2 Liquid Piston by Normand Boivin, and i am very very lucky and then very very happy
i love it.
