When the drill goes into the torso, u can see the square shape ofthe padding, but still nicely done, i cant quite work out the foot thing though....nice =)

Blood---Golden Syrup, red food colouring, mix em up and u got ur blood =) and for blood spattering or pouring out, anything cud work fro ma water pistol to blood bags, or even balloons =)

i have a question, how would you do a blood effect, like a demon cutting someone, but all you see is the cuts being made. like if a guy was standing there and all of a sudden these huge gashes started to appear. how could i do that?

Well, im not an expert =) but u wud probably need to use special effetcs...the only other way i can think of would be to keep the camera focused on the particular part of the body u want cut, take a shot of it before its cut, stop and then resume filming after u hav put the cuts on the body.....u wud need to then fade the second shot over the first.....

Paint some red blood colour on to the skin in a line. Then either make some fake skin using liquid latex or layers of glue. add some fishing line at the end of the long fake cut. cover area with makeup to hide the pull the fishing line to make it look like the cut is appearing.

the foot is fake (obviously) and there is a metal plate and squib on his chest (this is not done very well at all!) There is much more footage of both drillings showing stuff being pulled out the foot - might post them another day.

Thanks for the kind words, this was filmed about 1 years ago on an old Hi8 then transfered to VHS then to DVD so suffered a bit. I think it looks better with a bit of grain.
