  • 6:15 - 6:20 ROFL by 5min. great video!!

  • haha "its not gonna suck your hand". great video! time to get-a-building my spray booth

  • Great Job man. Thanks for posting

  • You said, "Rape tape". Which I laughed. I went to my neighborhood hardware store to set-up my own paint booth. Went to ask the clerk where the duct tape is, instead I mistakenly said, "Rape tape." That clerk had a disgusted look on is face I will never forget. I was so embarrassed, I never went there again. I can't believe you got me saying it! lol.

  • @MrVariable063 LMAO THATS BOTH AWESOME AND embarrassing

  • Awesome idea! I made one today and man is it a good idea. Thanks dude.

  • @countryboycoins anytime mate

  • Nice job! I like the idea of using the bathroom fan and ducting. I was going to use a box fan but being winter it would still be chilly. Thanks for the idea!

  • Excellent video...but unless that fan is explosion proof, you run the risk of a big boom. Paint fumes are explosive. I built a spray booth myself, but paid about $140 for an explosion proof fan...been working for 5 years now without problem.

  • Thought I was going to see a BS vid, but turned out to be really a good idea. I'm gonna try it cause I'm a cheap bastard to... Thanks for posting!

  • @2011Maynard cheap bastard UNITE !!

  • hi i wanted to create my own booth and i was wondering which vent did you bought ? is it the 50cfm nutone one from home depot at $14?

    thanks a lot :)

  • i like the idea, but, if i wanna spray nitro cellulose lacquer i'm afraid overspray will buildup around the motor a and ignite into flames... i love the idea though. i can't get any cheaper than that.

  • @franky1pro1 so what do u do ? dont spray nitro cellulose lacquer :D easy solution

  • Spray booth for cheap bastards! Love it. That's my category. Just what I was looking for. Mahalo

  • @kaono808 LOL Im glad It help brother

  • Hey yo chico, that is the best and cheapest way to make an effective spray booth and I think it was GREAT. Please make a video demonstrating it. I notice you got models there on your shelf so let's see at work. You are the man, chico.

  • @sigzor302620 Look up my build of the Revell F-117 A Stealth Fighter in my viedos I demostrate the use of the BOOTH

  • @albertoxFTW I saw the Stealth Fighter video and yes it demonstrates how well the booth works. With every spray, I could see the fan blowing all the paint fumes, mist and everything out of the booth. You can even see that shelf where the model rests is paint-free. Excellent job, bro.

  • @sigzor302620 Thankz again, just glad i was able to help

  • @albertoxFTW You're welcome, mi amigo. LA RAZA!

  • Your design is pretty simple and effective.. My question only question is how much arm room you actually have due to the top and side walls of the tub... Does it ever seem like you'd rather more room or the top is too low???.. Couldn't you open it up a little by cutting the corners. Then you could push the top up a little and reattach it with duct thap and hard plastic folders.

  • @jimeronimo Well you can But i Was trying to keep it simple, the fact is that if when you start making extra cuts in the container you also taking away from its life span because plastic cuts get strech marks over time. But again you can defenelly do those cool lil mods but the Booth will work just fine ether way. Thanks for the comment regardless

  • Seems a rocket engine to me

  • Hey there, I was wondering what kind of filter what you are using.

  • @MrJakr4 is an air ventilation filter with out a metal brace it cost about 2 bucks

  • @albertoxFTW

I don't suppose you could give us a brand name or something, please? I'm having a bit of trouble an air filter similar to the one you're using.

  • @BadlanderOutsider something like u see here homedepot.digby com/shops/web/homedepot?cmd=item&itemId=202446710&vendorId=78

  • Rape Tape! lol

  • RAPE TAPE! hahahahah lol. Great vid mate, loved it. Ur sense of humour is class

  • What is the piece of wood on the bottom for? Is it a counterweight?

  • @chetario its serves two purposes 1)has a counterweight 2) has a platform

  • man maybe im fucked up cuz when im painting my gunpla i can paint for hours in my room with just a window open and when people walk in there like dam dude wtf is going on in here ? and the fumes dont even bug me.

  • @1994toyotasupra dude them fumes will stay in your lungs for years !!

  • @1994toyotasupra HA! You sound like a smokaholic.

  • @Chibithy thats the wierd thing ive never smoked a day in my life. Maybe im just wierd .. and the bad part is i use testors .. on the front it even says its lead based ha.. im sooo fucked

  • @1994toyotasupra Damn, you are screwed, what are you new to modeling?

  • @Chibithy naw ive done it for about 10 years .. but i didnt get into painting maybe 3 years ago.

  • @1994toyotasupra Where you one of those "snap together a gundam straight out of the box" types?

  • @Chibithy yeah along time ago.. I think i started when i was 8 and i wouldnt even cut them out of the tree i would just kinda twist the pieces out and put it together.... i had a big collection too but then they were all lost when i moved .. so i stopped building for a few years .. then i got back into building but wanted to get into painting .. some of my work is on this channel.. and other work is on my customgundam150 channel

  • LOL @ Kidnapping tape I think imma try this out

  • @mrcapcom DO IT !!

  • nice tutorial, i'm gonna see if i can make my own spay boofh too xD

  • kewl:)

  • Good point there... a spark could cause the exhaust pipe to turn into a out-the-window flame thrower that'll singe a passing neighbour. How do you know the fan motor is a non sparking one?

  • @2Old4Toys Is easy most of them will say in the back "Non-sparking fan" but in case you not sure just look at the materials themselves. impellers and/or housings have to be non-metallic (plastic), because if the fan blade and the housing are plastic there will be an elimination of static electricity that usually makes does evil sparks happen.

  • Please post a link to this video in the youtube upload forum on GE, so these idiots stop spraying outside already! XD

  • @cadderly lmao got you squee
