  • What is that black frame thing at the end of the video? I can imagine securing that to my hangar pole with some 550 so I can hang my carrier in my closet when not in use.

  • on the eagle plate carrier with cummerbunds ...can we remove the cummerbunds an just wear it with side strap buckle???

because the only one i can find are plate carrier with CUMMERBUNDS

    thank you

watch my detailed vid on th eeagle industries ciras land 35 mins

  • whats the heaviest armor you have?

  • @yesiamawizardjonny

another half wit with a full load of crap to spew..

  • where did you find the glock eagle pouch? the ones they issue now are only for the berreta

  • Your plate carrier is way to low. The top of your front plate should be at the top of your sternal notch at the bottom of your neck. You should be able to look down, open your mouth, and have your chin touch your plate carrier with at least a 1 inch over lap. Your plates are hanging about 3-4" too low and leaving the top of your vitals exposed.

  • I see that you have plates in there. Where did you picked them up at ? i have the L - XL With the cumb .

  • Do you want to use a square plate, or another front plate for your back plate.

  • had one of these in afghanistan......works fantastically

  • how much does the plate carrier itself cost? also, with the plates?

  • @13wraps The plate carrier is on backorder with eagle, supposedly 75th mountain grabbed them all before heading out..

So the ones you will find available today will go for over 200 USD on ebay (without plates), but retail is 175-180.

Plates costs differently, both size and armor rating will change the pricetag, you know, these things aren't hard to find out yourself, just go to optactical, skdtac or triad tactical and find out yourself.

  • @SweBadAss666 and that includes all these pouches or just the vest itself?

  • @13wraps That's for JUST the plate carrier, the pouches (if you go eagle industries on them as well) will go for 40-70 USD a pop.

  • @SweBadAss666 >.<!!! wow thats sucks a little bit...lol

and im gessin the cheap ones are just that...cheap right?

  • @13wraps Not really, quality gear does cost money, and if your life depends on it it's very little money.

I only buy from Eagle, Endom, TT, HSGI, Paraclete

  • @SweBadAss666 lol good point

  • great review. i had a question. with out the plates the material it already has inside the vest does it stop small arms guns or knife penetration??

  • Hey dude, it looks like it was sagging in the front. Any comment on that? Great review, thinking about getting one.

  • Does anyone know where I can buy 12x14 plates? I can't seem to find this size anywhere.

  • NOT a CIRAS! This is the Eagle Industries Plate Carrier, without cummerbund. At 6' I would use a L/XL model with appropriate size plates. This one is the S/M model with medium plates..

  • Is that an Eagle CIRAS or MARCIRAS?

  • not very happy with mine, its relativiley small on someone that is 6'0 tall

  • Good to know, but do they offer a"Tall" version?

This one is a medium.. I assume they make a large, but is there an X-Large too?

  • i bought off of someone, but yeah i did notice different sizes on the website

  • The Eagle Plate Carrier is designed to carry plates. Plates are designed to stop bullets from poking holes in your good shit. The rig needs to sit high on the chest to make sure the plates cover your Lungs, Heart, and other good shit in your chest. The top of the plate should sit right at the V of your collar bone. If you want a big ass rig to load down with a million pouches, find another solution. I love mine, I have a lot of mobility and it holds exactly what I need it to.

  • I think a ciras type might do, or one of the newer OTVs, but i sacrifice mobility and comfartablility with that.

I think ive learned to apprciate this one more and more ive used it

  • Thanks, good explanation

  • @tokishreds im 6'5.... what size are you rockin?
