Back in those 80's, Hindi movies were well-plotted with total realism! nowadays I hardly see any movie like that! All big time crap movies! oh ya especially the bollywood actors with anemic performance!
im in America and i had to wait for the DVD to come out and id have to say it was not worth the wait and i didnt even watch most of it i keep falling asleep i was really disappointed because i thought abhishek bachchan was going to be really good in this movie =(

the person who uploaded this trailer isobviously biased against the film.. anyone who posts a positive review of the movie gets a bad rating and those who critisize it get good comment ratings... i haven't watched the movie yet but ive heard big b gave a killer performance, as usual.
you are absolutely right. AB yet again proves why he is the King of bollywood. He completely steals the show from every single acotor. AB junior is just okay. He does not get much scope like sarkar 1. Aish is a complete waste. I was hoping to see sth different. She is however very good in one particular scene. Which is the hospital scene when Abhi dies. Otherwise she is relegated to the back seat.
Not too bad although a little draggy in certain angles. Its something different not like the normal run-off-the-mill ones. As far as acting goes, Amitabh is top notch. He just lives in the role and excells towards the end parts. Abhishek is competent as well. Aishwarya is also adequate in the role which was sidelined but nevertheless she is competent too. a good sincere effort by Ram Gopal Varma
What a stupid producer, you have to avoid putting family members in a movie together because it takes away from the "reality" of the story that your trying to portray, unless the "reality" is miss world having an argument with her father in law about going on a shopping spree with her husband then it's more believable.

Brilliant film! Loved it, everyone should watch it. Intense and impeccable performances by Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya. Acting at it's best. And Aishwarya is a bloody brilliant actress, love her more than ever.

I don't think she was that good which is also have to do with the fact that since it is a men centric film she got completely sidelined. She has done way better roles than this. Just watch her in Raincoat, she was abosulutely brilliant. Or provoked or Chokher Bali or Guru or Kandukondain Kandukondain. She was very good in these films. Unfortunately her fans seem to have labeled her permanantly as a period film actress. She can't seem to come out of this box or shell.
sarkar raj is a great movie, best movie so far this year. It's as good as Jodha Akbar. Amitabh was awesome, aishwarya was EXCELLENT, as usual, and abhishek did a good job too.
i saw the movie recently also. Well its kinda slow for me. But the essence of the story was good. Amitabh as usual was good. Abhishek is improving. Aishwarya is restrained in her role but she carries it off with ease. She excelled especially in the last part.
Aish is like a goddess. Her acting is MIND-BLOWING. I saw her in Sarkar Raj yesterday and have concluded that Aishwarya Rai is the BEST, and I mean BEST actress in the industry today. no one can ever come close to her. she has made her place in the industry.

ACTUALLY, the director of this film clearly stated in an interview that Aishwarya will not be wearing any make-up in this movie. Aging might have something to do with it, but it's mostly because she's not wearing make-up.

Correction Baabul was not a flop. It was a bumper hit overseas and highly critical acclaimed. If you think Baabul is a flop then why did not you list Black as it tooo is a critical success and super hit overseas? Not everything has to be a commercial success you know.
Unfortunately could not generate the same impact as Sarkar as the film has been denounced as a flop. But Ramu's direction is brilliant. I think the audience is ready to forgive him after he made that "piece of crap" called Aag. On the whole an interesting film.
I liked Sarkar Raj. Amitabh yet again proves his mettle in acting. He steals the show from every single actor. A brilliant performance by the veteran actor. Abishek carries off the intence look with great elan. He does justice to his fole. Aish was a complete miscast in this film. She had nothing to do in this movie. She neither had a character nor her performance strikes out. She looks old in her costumes. She is aging really badly. Tanisha had no role. The villains were perfect. Music topnotch

You are soooooooo blind that you cannot even see it. Aish looks really old. The camerawork is a culprit for her b/c it reveals Aish's aging process. She looks quite old beside abhishek. Also she has no rfole in the film which I found to be very funny since all Aish fans were sooooo eager to watch her. Nonetheless a very well made film and Amitabh steals the show from everybody no doubt.

Today I watched the first day first show of Sarkar Raj here in Dubai and want to tell u guys the movie is out class. Very powerful storyline and awesome performance by all characters.Dont want to add spoilers here but I recommend u all to watch the movie. Its releasing tomorrow (6th June) in India.
Sarkar Raj has registered a record booking. The film has just broken New Excelsior cinema's 8 year advance booking record in Mumbai.Its a single screen theater with seating capacity of over 1100.

Unfortunately could not generate the same impact as Sarkar as the film has been denounced as a flop. But Ramu's direction is brilliant. I think the audience is ready to forgive him after he made that "piece of crap" called Aag. On the whole an interesting film.

I liked Sarkar Raj. Amitabh yet again proves his mettle in acting. He steals the show from every single actor. A brilliant performance by the veteran actor. Abishek carries off the intence look with great elan. He does justice to his fole. Aish was a complete miscast in this film. She had nothing to do in this movie. She neither had a character nor her performance strikes out. She looks old in her costumes. She is aging really badly. Tanisha had no role. The villains were perfect. Music topnotch

You are soooooooo blind that you cannot even see it. Aish looks really old. The camerawork is a culprit for her b/c it reveals Aish's aging process. She looks quite old beside abhishek. Also she has no rfole in the film which I found to be very funny since all Aish fans were sooooo eager to watch her. Nonetheless a very well made film and Amitabh steals the show from everybody no doubt.

Today I watched the first day first show of Sarkar Raj here in Dubai and want to tell u guys the movie is out class. Very powerful storyline and awesome performance by all characters.Dont want to add spoilers here but I recommend u all to watch the movie. Its releasing tomorrow (6th June) in India.
Sarkar Raj has registered a record booking. The film has just broken New Excelsior cinema's 8 year advance booking record in Mumbai.Its a single screen theater with seating capacity of over 1100.
