A story with a happy outcome. A King who was a disaster headed for more disaster succeeded by a King and Queen who were just what the country needed in a time of its greatest danger. And they were wonderful parents too!

Personally, although I dislike Camilla, I am looking forward to Charles' coronation. Tradition is tradition, and I don't think that he will refuse it as he was raised to take on the Crown.

Although, Charles will be a rather old king by then, because the Queen is far healthier than her mother was and I can see her being around for a long time - and no - she will never abdicate.

I think Prince Charles may abdicate and pass the throne on to Prince William once the Queen retires or passes away, then we would have King William V and Queen Catherine :D, The reason I think that is it would harm the monarchy if Prince Charles and Camilla were to take the throne.

@1892JohnPaul why would it? A poll said most support him being King now. You are going by your own personal dislike, and it doesn't work that way. Besides, it doesnt' matter if all of United Kingdom was against him being king, he would be unless he doesn't want it. I think he does, and frankly I hope he stands firm cause all the ppl who want him to lose his birthright for irrelevant reasons annoy me.
