  • Joyce did 3 singles with Cadence in the '50s.

  • wow this is great .is there anyone who has'nt sung this

  • A wonderful version. Joyce Hahn had a very sweet voice. And even though

I collected thousands of long playing records, I never saw one by her.

Maybe because her career was in Canada. Too bad she didn't make

    more recordings.

    Tnx 4 the interesting post.

  • My favourite version and I have heard and have copies of probably every version ever made. It is a great great song, not always appreciated when first released. It was written and first recorded by Marvin Rainwater, actually a top rockabilly singer and then has been recorded by so many from Eddy Arnold (or one of those old country stars) to Brenda Lee. Joyce Hahn's version is still to me the best; just wish I could remove that dratted whistling to more greatly appreciate her voice.

  • I have waited years to hear this 'Bluebird' version in full. Thanks ever so much . . .

  • When Canadian TV was new, Joyce Hahn was one of the singers, along with Wally Coster and Shirley Harmer and a young fellow named Robert Goulet, who used to sing the hits every week on "Trans Canada Hit Parade" on CBC. I know this song. I think she sang it on the show.

  • I love the Kitty Wells version of this...I have the record....Maybe I will post a video of it :)
