I was watching this video, without doing any EFT , and I found myself crying hysterically...I am in a process of 21 day Sasha Allenby's therapy. Doing it all on my own. Hope it will make a difference in my chronic health condition. Did anyone have any results with it ?
@ydamsky this made me cry too :( wow! powerful! I didn't think i had abandonment issues, and i was watching as a passive observer and now i'm crying. this is amazing. I have never used EFT except once. I have been interested in EFT but it's been one of those things that i'm lazy about. The one time i used it I was desperate after 7 days with Bell's Palsy. i cleared it on day 8 which is not common for the ailment. if just watching this brought up unknown issues, i must start doing this. amazing!
You may not be aware that from the 1st November 2010 the UK will issue a lifetime ban on blood donations from people diagnosed with ME/CFS. Canada, New Zealand and Australia have already issued similar bans. But you won't read that in the UK media that for 20 years has colluded with poweful British psychiatrists in misrepresenting ME/CFS as psychosmatic so Health Insurers don't have to pay out. ME/CFS is Neuro-immune. The retrovirus family XMRV/MLV is now very strongly implicated in ME/CFS.
The young woman in this video, Sasha, also claims that she 'cured' her ME/CFS with EFT tapping. ME/CFS is wildly overdiagnosed in the UK due to the lax diagnostic criteria and the common confusion of ME with conditions that include fatigue, including burnout, overtraining syndrome, depression.
The retrovirus family XMRV/MLV is now strongly implicated in ME/CFS.
EFT really needs to clean up its act fast and stop making unsustainable claims of curing the serious Neuro Immune Disease ME/CFS.
If you go deeper you will find that the perceived child is memory only. It has no life of its own. It is kept alive in mind, either individually or collectively through belief in the "I" as body/mind. When one is able to see the inner child objectively, that's where the real healing is. This inner child is not you. When the subject realizes itself in objective form comprehensively, it dissolves the past identity. You don't need tapping to achieve this. You are not your body, past or future.
how do we know if its gone forever. i have a fear and when i tap its gone. but when i come back in to the same situation it comes back. so if i tap at the moment im in the situation the fear calms down but does not go for ever. i have the same fear over and over again no matter what i do.
@ottomanturk1 Did you get anywhere with this? I have a very similar situation and I don't know what to do. I think perhaps this is the type of thing where it would be better to get help from someone else? Joint energy, another person's perspective while tapping - sometimes intuitively they say the right thing you need. I would be interested to know if you found a way? I would like to acquire extra help. Tapping gets below the logical mind so I know the answer is with this somehow. x
I have had spasmodic torticollis, twistiing of my neck, spasming of neck muscles, horrible torque on my back. I've been to 7 chiros, acupunture, rolfing, massage, etc. I did this technique after first reading Louise Hay's Heal Your Body A- Z and learning that the left side is the fem. side and probably my issues were about the women in my life. I tapped rewrote the "movie" in my head on several different issues and now my head is straight within hours/days of doing it!
Collage of Traumas.... essentially you try to work with the FIRST time something happened because that's where the learned response came from. If you don't remember, then just work with the first one you remember. If that doesn't clear all of them (generalization effect) then work on the next biggest. Please remember to KEEP tapping through this. Matrix Reimprinting is great for this.... You can also do TAT on ALL of them in a bundle first before tackling the first time with EFT.
This is interesting approach. I like the idea , talking and tapping on the little myself in the memory, I will try it on some issues, I'm curious how good this is. BTW, the woman in the video has wonderful tone of voice :)
I agree that tapping along with this video was very calming. I plan to come back to it. I have understand that I am in constant state of "freeze" from childhood abuse but have not fully understood how to discharge it until I saw the video on the polar bear that led me to this one. Thank you very much. I am already familiar with EFT but this adds depth of knowledge I had not had.
i wrote before that it was awesome to watch ....but watching it again I ran through the video taping myself and felt so calm after all the abuse of my childhood. I think people are so scared of bringing up the past child-themselves!!!!!! Thank you all for sharing this over u-tube it is a great gift! Thank you again
it's GREAT to tap along and to use this method for yourself!... some people may be afraid that big things and feeling come up but if the KEEP TAPPING through it.. all will be well - so glad this helps!
It's a great technique. He's giving a workshop in Sante Fe next month along with EFT training in Level 1-3 if you are interested. Go to TappingUniversity-dot-com and click on workshops
I had hand eczema for over 3 years. As a massage therapist, you can guess how brutal it was for me. I knew it was emotionally related due to the fact it came on after a stressful period caused by relationships. I did a lot of Eft on myself. I even thought it was a food allergy. I went to a chiro in my office who does a similar technique and uses Kinesiology. The core issue went all the way back to when I was 7. She cleared it and my hands have been good 4 over 2 months. Energy Psychology Works.
The retrovirus XMRV is now implicated in ME. The origin and mode of XMRV transmission in human populations are key public health issues that National Cancer Institute scientists are now addressing. ME is a multisystem organic neurological immune and sometimes fatal disease WHO classified Neurological since 1969. UK ME diagnostic criteria diagnoses on the presence of fatigue and so many are misdiagnosed with ME. Too many ME patients have died from ME direct in the UK, and from neglect of care.
Statements from ME BioResearchers say that patients in the UK ME psychosocial studies used by NICE, did not have ME.
Dr Irving Spurr, Newcastle ME Research Group "I have no doubt that patients in the research quoted by the GDG did not have ME/CFS"
Dr Jonathan Kerr Hon Consultant in Microbiology; Consultant Senior Lecturer in Inflammation; Principal Investigator of the CFS Group, St Georges University of London: "..these studies did not properly or adequately define their patient population"
Chronic Fatigue is not ME. ME is not Chronic Fatigue. chronic fatigue is what it sounds like; fatigue, a common symptom of stress, many illnesses, post-operative fatigue, psychological states, psychiatric conditions; a symptom. Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) is a Neuro Immune multisystem physical disease World Health Organisation classified physical neurological G93.3 since 1969. Calling ME 'Chronic Fatigue' wrongly mixes ME up with other conditions.
WE are not talking about three diferent things. YOU are talking about EFT. YOUR professional practice, YOUR wish to get insurance, and YOUR wish to get people to understand EFT.
You remain oblivious to the problems caused by promoting EFT over all other values. I am trying to get you to think about all the contradictory things you have said. Such as the claim that EFT is a like acupuncture. The acupuncture schools do not agree.
Karin said: "OF COURSE it's like acupuncture in that it uses acupuncture points". IF EFT is "like acupuncture" as you say - can you produce validated confirmation of that claim - from reputable Acupuncture training colleges (The College of Traditional Acupuncture in Warwick, for example, establised 36 years) and regulatory bodies such as The British Acupuncture Council? IF EFT is "like acupuncture" then why are you trying to get EFT accredited as a Touch Therapy such as massage and chiropractic?
I'm a little busy at the moment, but essentially we are talking about 3 things at once. Helping people new to EFT understand, getting insurance support in specific cases and helping people wanting to know more find someplace to begin..
Karin, its not That much effort to post comments. Its hardly useful to make patronising assumptions that anyone criticising EFT and its practitioners' claims, must be 1: ignorant of EFT, NLP, Meridan therapies, all healing practice and theory. And 2: that EFT critics do not themselves engage in 'helping people'. Again its down to relatively inexperienced healers adopting the moral high ground and insisting that they have the only truth. Some of us have seen many healing fads come and go
So Karin is working to get EFT approved at a Touch therapy now, in the same group as massge therapy and chiropractic! What happened to the EFT claim to be a Meridian therapy like acupuncture and shiatsu? I don't suppose acupuncturists would even recognise the vague EFT tapping as within a million miles of the subtlety of a true meridian therapy. The fact is EFT'ers couldn't hit an acupoint even with a magnifying glass. Of course EFT isn't like acupuncture, that idea was just marketing guff.
Oh for Pete's sake... when someone explains something, you try to see what a person will understand so they can understand better. OF COURSE it's like acupuncture in that it uses acupuncture points - but that is only the beginning. EFT is "like" a lot of things... Olga, I really wish you would take all this effort and put it to use helping people...
Be careful in your claims of ME 'cure' by EFT. The retrovirus XMRV is implicated in ME. Many conditions are misdiagnosed as ME, Burnout, athletes over training, primary trauma, psychiatric conditions. ME is a multisystem organic neuroimmune, sometimes fatal disease, WHO classified Neuro in 1969. Retrovirus XMRV is now implicated in ME. A team led by researcher Elaine De Freitas discovered a retrovirus implicated in ME back in the early 1990's. The research was buried by the US Centres for Disease Control collaborating with powerful Britsh psychiatrists in the pay of the health insurance industry, to hide the science evidence. They propagated the LIE that ME is not organic. People with ME have never been allowed to give blood to the National Blood Bank. Have you never wondered why not??
I have to reply because it's funny - I told Karl that his accent is - well - different. And I realized one day when I was in the BACK seat of a car and he was in the front seat and we were driving somewhere, that I couldn't catch some of his words! I actually couldn't understand words now and then and it surprised me because I've know him for awhile.. so I realized that he needs to be careful with videos & he's become much more cognizant of it. He has such great info. So all is better now...
Yeah, I wish more people like him were here in the US. A lot of us miss out when someone becomes big like him and inaccessible. I'm weary about hiring a practitioner because there are a lot of wanabees out there. It also sucks that insurance doesn't cover this because it helps. They only cover things that don't help, like mindless psychs and their life-robbing medecines. I've had more luck with EFT than all the shrinks I've been to and all the drugs I've taken in the past.
