I Remember walking into the room with all the Company Commanders and being scared outta my pants lol. This boot camp was overall good but ALL boot camps have there bad days.
Hey cmay121, when they are checking your sea bag, and you have your towel rolled up, do they unroll it? And also, is there electrical outlets in the rooms you stay in?
@tsthomas2441 lol, no for two reasons, 1 is that i dont use alot, and 2 is they unpack everything, i think ur best bet would be to put it ur pocket on ur bdus or utilities
@CptPinky Yea I'm going to put it in my underwear and my phone charger in my towel cause they dont unroll your towel. But hey maybe we'll be in the same company! See you tomorrow man.

Hey I'm going to recruit training at Fort Devens this summer and I have heard many different things about the training. Was it hard or was it easy? If you could just tell me some different things you did while there and like a summary of the training I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
@cmay121 Hey one more question, cma121, do they go through all your stuff and take your phone and make sure you dont have it? Because some of the other cadets at my division have said some trainings dont take it, they just make sure your not using it all the time. How is Ft. Devens on that situation?
Good question. As you can see in the first 30sec. or so in the video you will enter a room and have your see bag dumped out and looked through. Not all training do this, but Ft. Devens does.
There are ways of getting things like phones or watches in, for one of my shipmates did. However, I don't recommended it because they will ask you if you have any electronic devices, so don't lie. Plus, like my shipmate you will be caught.
Yeah no watches. You'll never know what time it is, but than again you don't need to. My shipmate knew their'd find in during inspection, so he wore it. And thats when the Petty Officer saw it under his sleeve. However it was nice knowing what time to get up. Reveille was always my least favorite. Although it was nice for the rest of us don't do it.
Back in the day, I was told that RTC @ Fort Devens was ease, I underestimated it and for that resin it was hard. Compared to Navy RTC, Fort Devens is ease, but you will still be challenged and work hard. One thing that will help you a lot is your 11 GENERAL ORDERS. Memorize them in and out of oder. You will be quizzed when you get there on day one. Three thins that you should always fallow are

Part 2
2.) Trust your ship mates. They got your back and you better have their's.
3.) Don't be ashamed to mess up it will happen, just do you best and forget the rest.
If you fallow those three things and learn your 11 General Orders, you'll do great.
