  • I wish I had a 4 and a third octave xylophone.

  • @cambridgefarms2 That's a marimba

  • @kva4591 That was the joke, haha.

  • you're both excellent pianists.

  • dude i love the little bits you added yourself to make it more interesting and less repetitive. nice little improvisational comments. i try to do that in GH green rags too

  • My band teacher can play this peice like...PERFECTLY!!! Great Job :))

  • a little bit mistake..but overall u did a great job.

u got a good bit and music sense..cant talk more.

i really hope to preform this piece..

do u ve this score ?

if yes.. could u send me one ..much thanks! C:

  • great job!!! the piece was very musical and exciting. a wrong note here and there is o.k its the mood of the piece that counts. try to remember where the wrong notes occur and fix them when practicing. i found your playing relaxed and exciting and not a lot of pounding you are a very musical drummer and you are also on track to be a greast player someday dont get discouraged by a bunch of nerds.

  • Thanks for your comment, I appreciate it.

  • I have to perform this today for solo and ensemble, and again at a concert. I'm so nervous today haha. I just hope I don't mess up to bad. Enough about me though, good job. Added things in I never heard about on this piece, but it fit. Nice job.

  • Thanks

  • this is played way to fast for the metronome marking that is set. i bet he is american they do everything to fast

  • ? Its the right speed plus what do you mean by americans do everything to fast?

  • his tempo in this is 85, which is 20 beats too slow. the real tempo for this (according the green book) is 105

  • this being a solo, it is good that he is lose. Fingers coming of the mallets is not that big an issue.

  • this is my solo for ISSMA group 1.

  • Thanks. Sorry it took me awhile to reply... I guess I've missed your comment. If you are still looking for this piece, I got it from Steve Weiss Music (It's in a collection of pieces by George Hamilton Green)

  • i thought this was a blind boy fuller tune from 1935..

  • this is a piece by George Hamilton Green for the early 1900's. earliest recording is from 1926

  • good job

too bad its not a marimba piece.

  • Thanks

  • Your technique is really solid.

Was this originally written for marimba or xylophone?

  • Thanks. It was written for xylophone.

  • except for his hands. fingers coming off the mallets alot.

  • a bit slow, but nice, particularly the glisses.

  • Thanks

  • that was amazing. i played a song by the same composer. rainbow ripples. was really fun. good job.

  • Thank you. Rainbow Ripples is a good rag too.

  • I'm learning that as well. :)

  • Good job!

  • Thanks.

  • That was amazing. The funny thing is that im playing that for a solo in a solo and ensemble contest. U did amazing

  • Thank you. Good luck with your contest!

  • awesome job!

  • Thanks.

  • excellent job!! which mallets did you use in that marimba??

  • Thanks. I used "Musser M-212" for the performance (rattan handles, 1" medium rubber).

  • sounds great!

I'm playing Triplet with Columbus Ohio's honor band and it's hard and this looks harder
