I 2nd "Ironmaiden13" is an idiot who knows nothing about snow wheeling.
If you don't have bead locks, 3M weather stripping glue works well. I almost always run less than 2 psi in the snow, & watch people get stuck that wont air down, because they're too scared to pop a bead dropping less than 5#. As a result, they waste everyones time, & tear up the road causing ruts. Because their tires don't CONFORM TO THE TERRAIN & grab... Or because they cant drive.
if u were honestly running less than 5 psi ur an idiot no offense. That tire should have fallen off those rims and shredded when u punched it up the hills. U never wanna go lower than 10psi EVEN IN THE SNOW. You'll hit a hard spot eventually and there goes ur 300 dollar tire.
@ir0nmaiden13 Oh Wow....you are a moron and obviously know NOTHING about snow wheeling or driving in general. Our tire cannot "fall off the rim" b/c of this little thing called beadlocks. I don't know any REAL wheeler who runs with 10 PSI snow or rock. Please do not post comments on subjects that you are uneducated on.
@kfinney80 actually I'm a certified mechanic and collision specialist to boot kid and you have no idea what UR talkin about. The bead on a tire can break with little pressure under deflated conditions. i've broken the bead with spoons with no effort on 32" m/ts plenty of times. You have fun retard. Call me when it shreds ur expensive rubbers and I'll gladly charge u for new ones.
@ir0nmaiden13 I really have no need for a VW mechanic but thanks offering. Do some research on rockcrawling tires and get back to me when you're educated on the subject that you are argueing. The beads on the tires that we run now days are intergrated into the sidewall. The fact that you claim to be a mechanic makes you sound even more ridiculous. How old are you? Maybe your out of touch with the way the sport has evolved.
@DBenton459 Both....We don't ever use chains....sometimes, they will do more harm than good. Sometimes you don't want to dig, you want to float. It's all about the challenge. Using chains is like playing baseball but always hitting off a tee...you can still play but it really takes the fun out of it lol
So good. I wish we could get some snow here (CO), what little we are getting is just getting blown off the mountains! Although my rigs got nothing on those mothers..
@strawn52 In this video we're running bald 39.5 IROKs and Staun inner beadlocks with a psi of 0-2. We've recently switched to Allied beadlocks and a new set of 39.5 IROKs.
@9677simone Why don't you find some Americans and call them stupid to their face? Is cowardice practiced in your culture? I have yet to meet you in person so I can only assume it is true of people like you, based on the small amount of prejudice thought you exhibited on this channel. Or were you just trolling and not being serious?
@Wpsuspension Because I appreciated an XJ? Sorry, I have a lifted XJ, but it's nothing like that thing. What's your problem? I can't express appreciation for a sick vehicle in any words I desire to use? Maybe I should have gone more your approach: Ya bro, THAT WAS SICk. I don't KNow WHY I have RANDOM CAPital letters miXED WitH LowERCASE letterS. Fuck yeah man. Sick car. You rock. ETC.
nice, I run 33x12.5's on 15x8 steelies. I run mine down as low as 3 during the winter and have never popped a bead. It's all about how you play with the skinny pedal.
@TheJeepWheeler We had stauns in for a while....now we're running allieds. Once our sidewalls were broke in we had serious problems with the H2s keeping the tire on without the stauns.....but we were running 40s that were like nascar fastcar tires at the end lol
@kfinney80 yeah you gotta point there. I bought the Stauns right when they came out, cost me like $65.00- bucks or something. After I couldnt figure out how to set em, i just went out and bought a valve stem tool. Much quicker than the stauns, but a lil more of a pain in the ass if the stem comes shooting out and disappears into snow XD
@TheJeepWheeler I'm talking about the Staun innerlocks (beadlocks). We had the inner beadlocks matched with those H2 wheels and they worked good but now we went with Allied beadlocks.
FUCK normal cars, get a TATRA 8X8 and that's it!

oknasob 2 weeks ago
@oknasob We normally start at about 5 and continue to lower throughout the day. Usually end up around 0-2. Thanks for watching.
