  • Question regarding the soma chakra: you said it is an energy loss ... so do yogis stop the dripping, or do they ingest the drop?

  • @gingowitch Using Khechari mudra, one may catch the soma on the back of the tongue and bring it to the soft tissue below the tongue, where it can be absorbed directly into the bloodstream...

  • @peterpandoer Ah I see, and how often does this occur throughout the day?

  • @gingowitch If it is seen as important in the specific phase of evolution along the path of yoga, then whenever the tongue is not needed for anything else :-)

  • at about 26:00 you said you want to tell something about the "soma"-chakra, above the 6th-chakra. i often feel a "tickling" just there when meditating and i wonder if it is what you are referring to.

will you talk about it in another video?

  • @kalorette If this tickling is sort of electrical, then it is prana increasing in that area because of your focus there. It is good news in the sense that it means your focus in the third eye is getting stronger and it can itself become an object of concentration. Visualisation of prana moving in and out of the third eye with inhalation and exhaling can make it even stronger. As far as i know, the trickling of soma juice is not something one normally can feel.
