  • yes. i would tell them. done.

  • If I were president I would NOT fight to inform women about the "risks" of abortion because that means anti-abortion propaganda being shoved into their face and we have enough of that! I would do the opposite and make abortions more affordable & accessible

  • IS an unwanted child good for society or bad studies show that they end up being the criminal element so do you allow an unwanted and risk having the next drug dealer or you allow abortion and only parents that want to have and take care of the new generations to come

  • Women should have rights. But they shouldn't be allowed to kill un born children. Having a baby vacuumed out of you is still killing, plain and simple.

  • Back in the late 80's:

My sisters good friend was raped. She was impregnated as a result of the rape. She was very against abortion but also having this baby inside her literally drove her crazy and was a constant reminder of the rape. I was very young and most of my memory from it comes from my sister explaining what happened later. I do remember my sister always crying when talking to her. She committed suicide in her 6th month. My take on it is the choice should be up to the pregnant woman.

  • @Danbo342 That's a really tragic story. :( I agree wholeheartedly that the choice should be up to the pregnant woman what to do with her body, even more so when she's abused or raped. Women deserve support and options, not condemnation, judgement or criticism, which many pro-lifers thrive on.

  • For 10s of 1000s of years, mankind has justified killing by claiming that the victims were sub-human, unhuman, beasts, undeserving of life. . . Our species has done this for self-gratification, to minimize the psychic trauma suffered by ones person when they kill someone. The reasons have been many: to conquer, to plunder, to control, to subjugate. The Nazis did this to the Jews. Kingdoms to other kingdoms. It was done to the blacks. . . and now it is done to the unborn, who are fully human.

  • @bernsten69 Know what happened before abortions? More newborns abandoned and killed. You're right that people have always killed one another for selfish, unjust reasons. You can't change human nature. People are competitive and survivalistic over many things, and never as much as when they're overpopulated or feel threatened or without rights. Denying women rights to make decisions with their own bodies is aiming for a lower standard of living. Women are people and deserve rights too.

  • This isn't necessarily a debate question, i.e. NFL/NFA Debate-wise. This is more presidential debate question ( Note: the "If you were president" part of the question.). Personally, I would not enforce clinics releasing all the information. Usually abortions are the last option, after adoption etc. etc. so complications are not really a worry. Furthermore, If the person in question really wants to know the information then they could find it out through other methods.

  • Are you from papio-lavista?

  • eat some shit u stupid dumbass smash ur computer and fuck urself

  • Why is this a good question? Its very easily answerable and gives them lee-way to expand upon their points and seem smarter and mentally beat you down. In the next speech, if this is policy, they could stand up and just read other statistical research, deny your point in two seconds, and thus make you seem like an idiot. This is a very bad question and takes too long to ask

  • It's a moot point. We live in an age where information about the psychological/physical effects of abortion are available to everyone. It's not the job of the people that are performing abortions to provide this information--it's the job of the woman who wishes to have an abortion to make the choice that she feels is best for her, based on the research she has conducted on the topic.

  • Obviously she is missing the point of legalized abortion. It is to ensure women don't have to expose themselves to shady characters that are unqualified in the field.

  • Loaded question much?

  • its a citizens duty to be informed .not by others but by his own investigatin and research.ignorance of the complications is not really an excuse.like miranda rights .you still have the right weatherthe police inform u or not.in the consent form to operate death is always a possibility .thats a given.all operations mental risks as well.

  • I feel like flagging this video for Misleading text...

  • Also sight your sources for this 80% figure and it better be a reliable scientific source. I call BULL.

  • Rebuttle: The growing feminist group (backed by religious standards) that is protesting abortions is simultaneously infringing on women' rights to abortions. If a woman wants to get an abortion are you going to try and convince her that she is wrong in her pursuit and that abortions are being enforced on women without their consent.

No matter what you say a man can not make a woman get an abortion it is their right to the procedure.

And women are more methodical than men they do their research

  • 1 in 5 embryos do not make it to full term. Is your god the ultimate abortionist?

  • 1 in 5 embryos do not make it to full term. Is your god the ultimate abortionist?

  • There's a lot more complications & dangers carrying a fetus 9 months & delivering it. Same question.

  • Mmmmm Hmmmm. I really don't care what anyone else does. Is that the right answer? Tell me, please! I wouldn't want to misalign such a sweet, tender mind...

  • she has a very good point. They also don't emphasize how the patient could possibly be one of the "rare" statistics who could hemorrahge to death. They also don't emphasize that all human life is sacred and that nuclear family planned pregnancies are no more sanctified than those who aren't. Jesus was a dirt poor pauper; but he was child of God, just like the rest of us. People just don't get it.

  • She has a shit point. Abortion complications? Check the internet. Women complaining about lack of information after the event? Embarrassment and guilt.

Should we be allowed to abort? Of course we should. Is it murder? Who the fuck cares. We are the people, we are the concious beings, we want the conveniance. We've let religion govern our lives before, and we've moved past it. In a hundred years it'll all be forgotten anyway.

Religion, the worlds longest running joke.

  • @Malc180s please re-read what you wrote and you will see how ignorant it is. this video has nothing to do with religion. she never brought it up. you can be an atheist and be pro-life. and although i am an atheist who is pro-choice i would NEVER say "is it murder? who cares" or use "convenience" as an argument. i assure u there is nothing convenient about abortion.

  • @Malc180s some people havent gotten to the punch line yet though

  • @Malc180s I am against abortions, for a reason that has nothing to do with religion. You stated that people have abortions for their convenience, is that what we call it now? If you are going to have sex unprotected and your that ignorant, its all your fault. Abortion is for the irresponsible murderers who want a way out of the situation that they put themselves in.

  • @BermudaBlueRs why are abortions murder? furthermore, why is it better to have a baby be born that will suffer all his/her life and most likely be traumatized then it is to have an abortion before he is even alive?? its not murder, dumbass, welcome to the real world.

  • @adawg95 Should I be permitted to put a gun to your head and pull the trigger, just because I convince some people you are either not alive, or your 'quality of life' is not worth sustaining? 48% of all abortions occur while the baby has a heartbeat, thus the baby can be considered living, just inside the mother.

  • @BermudaBlueRs dude, your gun analogy is completely irrelevant. my quality of life will always outweigh a baby's quality because i am a rational being and a baby who has not even been born yet is not. i can decide if my life is worth living. furthermore, why should you get to decide the verdict of abortions?? what if a girl is raped? is she obliged to keep the baby because "Abortion is for the irresponsible murderers who want a way out of the situation that they put themselves in"

  • @adawg95 Less then 1% of abortions are from a women who is raped. Even then, statistics show that babies can have a normal life with adopted parents. 93% of abortions occur because its inconvenient for the parent(s).

  • @BermudaBlueRs where are you getting your statistics from??? and even if those are right, which i highly doubt, your still not proving solvency through that 1%. your just saying, "oh well because they are only 1%, they don't matter"

  • @adawg95 Excuse me. I don't want to participate in the debate but I just want to ask you a question that you may call irrelevant to the topic at all. I don't mind if you want to insult me as well. My question is:

"Do you also give your biological mother the right to abort you when you were still in her womb?"

  • @zaviusfirerave Do a baby give its mother the consent? The thing is, a baby doesn't have to right to decide that or give consent. Technically, until the baby takes its first breath of air, it is considered a parasite inside the body. It lives off of the mom, taking nutrients, and giving nothing in return. The baby doesn't get to decide if it wants to live because it's brain is no where near developed at a time where an abortion could be done. It doesn't have "rights" to begin with anyway.

  • @Malc180s so your saying its alright to end another life for your benefit? killing an innocent human being is alright? your looking like a big selfish jerk. and a lot of the times we need religion to govern us. look at the ten commnandments and tell me how those laws are not a good way of governing our society.

  • @ochoan8or Let's take it further. Plants have feelings too. When you uproot a plant, it suffers, then dies. You've just taken a LIFE !!! Then you go on to eat it ! HOW BRUTAL ! The only WAY we can solve this issue is to NOT EAT, ever AGAIN ! We have to STOP all this brutal KILLING !

    Now what ?

  • @gblueslover2 alright that was literally the stupidest aligory you cudve used. but thanks for making it easy :) plants are not human beings. they have no brain, no thought, so they have no sense of morality or anything in that matter. we dont eat babies after abortions. plants are meant to be eaten. people are not meant to be killed.

  • @ochoan8or Obviously you have not studied that fact. In fact, youy're going to evade that fact with your stupid comments-Guaranteed... because you don't want to lose. But secretly, you'll check it out, then go " OH " . Evade, avoid, hide. Nice try, but you've been busted..

Ask me if I really care though. lol

  • @gblueslover2 what fact? i stated several in my arguement. but thanks for not acknowledging my retaliations. it rele shows who lost. :)

  • @Malc180s blaming religion as a whole for everything simply shows how ignorant you really are.I am religious and I have had a gf that has had an abortion. This is an issue that has positive points on BOTH sides.

  • @ANGELBLU2042 your an idiot, sorry for bad luck

  • Uuhh...

  • ohhh. iused to go to papio south..

then i got kicked out and went to ideal.. then got kicked out of ideal..

    then boys town..

    -Haley Smith

  • Great Question.

Let's take it further down the road and talk about abortion itself.

A Woman's Right or Murder? Do we have the right to end an innocent life for convenience?

What about the black-market of selling aborted baby parts for medical experimentation? No one talks about that, but it exists.

Baby killing for profit. What an evil world we live in. Vote for a president who holds firmly to Christian ethics, morals, and principals. That'd be a republican.

  • we live in a world of myths, distorted realities and stupid people.

  • About the abortion itself question there.

Yes there's debate, about the morality of killing an innocent being, and the morality of letting it grow in a family who can't accept it or love it.

But the question in the video, pro and anti abortion people should be unanimous :

Anti-abortion : Yes, inform of risk, it's an extra reason to ban abortion.

Pro-abortion : Yes, inform of risk, anyone making a medical decision must know all the factors before proceeding.

  • wow, that is a great question.

  • "And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you become fishers of men."

    (Mark 1:17)

  • "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"

    (Constitution, 1st amendment)

  • this is not religion it is just wrong killing babies for no faking reason. i understand if the 1. mother is at risk 2. baby at risk or 3. rape or anyother forcefull pregnecy duhhh (liberals)

  • When someone quotes the bible, well, "duhhh" it's about religion (Theocratic Republicans) by stating "well, I understand if..." just adds problems to what is mostly a black and white question. Since your taking a conservative stance, is the "baby" not a child anymore if it's from rape or if it will kill the mother?

  • You think that is the best debate question ever?!? Wrong! Not even close!

    Thank you.
