@jordananthonyruiz I jailbroke mine with Spirit and it isnt slow at all. When I close apps, I dont get an animation though (so it just goes from the app straight to the home screen without a fading background). My iPod's always froze every once in a blue moon so I doubt it started because I jailbroke it. You will be fine jailbreaking it.
