@newgarda Gladly. Hopefully you read all 2409 pages instead of going to wikipedia. So right now the bill hasn't changed anything. Not in my state, not in any other. Probably because the bill is going to phase with time. Until then, the value tax will be continued from the bill. The bill will increase the tax rates on individuals with health care. Even though it's cheaper now, it will cost more than it was by 2013-14. And according to the bill, they will milk us our money for a while.
@newgarda Unfortunately the money they will get back to pay off the bill will not be enough. It will increase the federal debt by a projected 4-12 trillion dollars we have to pay. These have been said from the Republicans. In my opinion as well. I would see why they would do as much in their power to stop this bill from passing. @Gunsforalls I disagree. Yes the taxes are going to be higher but taking into what our healthcare system has become, it is more than necessary. The tax increase is not high and most of the higher tax hikes are going to the very wealthy so most likely, it won't effect you very much.

And history shows, that if a business is taxed, then the business lay off workers to save that money they lose. How is this not effecting me? I get taxed, and I get a chance to lose my job. When others have capital stolen to pay for health care, damage to the areas of the economy they previously spent or invested in is negative. What there trying to do is force democratic to take tough votes on some commonsense things that they themselves would never even bring up for a vote if they were in charge, such as, an amendment that would require all senators to read bills before voting on them. I can't remember a couple others. But it's all designed to delay the bill's passage and if possible get sent back to the house.

Even though it's cheaper now, it will cost more than it was by 2013-14. And according to the bill, they will milk us our money for a while.

These have been said from the Republicans. In my opinion as well. I would see why they would do as much in their power to stop this bill from passing. It's like a child trying pro-longing the dentist appointment. In this case, Republicans know all of our teeth are ok. Liberal Democrats do not know that.

When others have capital stolen to pay for health care, damage to the areas of the economy they previously spent or invested in is negative. The don't it's a stalling tactic. What there trying to do is force democratic to take tough votes on some commonsense things that they themselves would never even bring up for a vote if they were in charge, such as, an amendment that would require all senators to read bills before voting on them. I can't remember a couple others. But it's all designed to delay the bill's passage and if possible get sent back to the house.

I think this is great.
Our system is a joke. Checks and balances have been destroyed by the two-party takeover. The Democrats keep trying to play by whatever sneaky outs the Republicans have thought of and the Republicans just think of new abuses to stump them. Who are the bigger jokers, I really don't know. I just know they both have to go, and their corrupt 2-party system has to go with them.

Is this bill law? Obama signed yet...yet the Senate is voting on it. I am a little confused here. Why would Obama sign it if the Senate has to approve it first?

@JoesRambles Yes, the primary bill is law. The one being contested now is the "reconciliation" bill.
