  • One legend of a fast bowler is this guy King Curtly Ambrose, thanks for the excellent video, we grew up watching these legendary windies fast bowlers. It gives me goosebumps how we used to idolise these guys and would discuss about them during school days and college. One has to look at his statistics to believe that Curtly Elcon Lindwall Ambrose was the most complete fast bowler of the time which had equally great contemporaries but King Curtly stood tall among them ... Economy and Lethal Pace

  • which is the 2nd song that is played from 4:30 ???

  • This is my favourite cricket related video on Youtube. Awesome!

  • I would like to know at what pace he used to bowl ?

  • O man......What a legend Ambrose is. The best when it comes to bowling bouncers. I love the way he used to bowl bouncers & the way he used to terrorize the batsmen. He's my inspiration. His every dismissal was a beauty. I salute him

  • Bowling AMBYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! :'( I miss this guy.. THANK GOD I grew up idolizing him and even used to imitate his action during my school friendly matches.. and THANK GOD I was born in the era of the Ambrose, Walsh, Waughs, etc.. • awesome video, particularly the bit with 'judgment day' as the background score

  • @vindaisatossermini somethings are better left unsaid.

  • @ 0:40 had me in tears lmao...i had to pause it...

  • Ambrose & Walsh, Wasim & Waqar, Mcgrath & Gillespie, Donald & Pollock

1990s had some real great bowlers and not to forget Srinath, Vaas, Mcdermott, Bishop, Shoaib, Carins, Some real awesome FAST bowlers back then and Spin bowling wasnt bad either. Warne, Mushtaq, Saqlain, MacGill, Kumble, Paul Strang, Murlitharan, Vettori and so on. Had real competition between bat and ball from 1975 to 2005. now withall due respect apart from Dale Steyn not a single bowler who can claim to be Gr8.

  • @kabooterjajaja Kemar Roach is awesome up and coming fast bowler for the W.I he is constantly hitting the 150kmh mark.

  • @kabooterjajaja You forgot Lasith Malinga.. apart from Dale Steyn one the few good fast bowlers around of the present generation

  • @evilgoesgaagaa Malinga ? who the hell is he? he never turns up for test cricket. his record in test cricket is nothing.

  • @kabooterjajaja I agree with u

  • PHOENIX SUNSSS!! YEA BUDDY.....CURTLY AMBROSE the BEST FAST BOWLER everrr!!

  • King Curtly is the most complete fast bowler, he had a great strike rate and also was one of the most economical ... He had always performed well against better test teams like Australia and England ....

  • One of my All time Favorite bowler. One hell of an act. Legend indeed.

  • Well made video.

I wonder how many of these batsmen took their guard, looked up to see CA at his mark and thought "I do NOT get paid enough for this..." haha

  • fast bowler goota look scary, legend

aggrresive on field that's what counts

    curtley speaks to no body

  • The 90s had the best lineup of bowlers ever !

  • @vigilantez78 ,I would still go for the 70's and 80's line-ups as more ferocious.

  • Pretyy amazing video this fuck !!

  • Absolutely brilliant video.

  • What a video!!!

  • @kapurprem Thanks man, CURTLY IS KING!

  • @robelinda2 which song is this...the first one from 0:00 till 2:45...I remember hearing it long back but forgot its name?...btw its an awsome compilation Curtly was one of the best a true legend !!!

  • @havfun15 the song is called sandstorm by darude (without the breathing at the start)

  • @Gtbabiee69 Will have to disagree,It has to be Wasim. Although Curtly, Mcgrath, Donald, Wasim,Waqar were all Better than any of the top bowlers playing currently including Steyn.

  • @rohanfdes

akram on peak from 1985-1993. of the nineties, i would say the trophy goes to either donald or mcgrath.

  • @dilkashh Not donald. Probably between Mcgrath or Akram.

  • @rohanfdes

i would leave out akram. way too overrated for the years after 1995-2003. if it is the nineties, it has to be donald from 1992-1998. akram was beast from 1985-1991. remember, during akram's bowling time (late 80s), he was in intense competition with windies pacemen of the age. ambrose is also an equal contestant with donald to be paceMAN of 90s. so does mcgrath. but mcgrath is like beast from 1997-2007.

  • @dilkashh overrated? gimme a break. akram is known for his reverse swing...not his pace. ur putting the man in a wrong league. paceman of the 90's eh? shoaib akhter with 100 mph...fast enough?

  • @IIXLNCII

100mph makes you fast. not the paceman of the decade. and, of course akram is known for his reverse swing. jesus, you got my whole statement wrong. you are so immaturely coming onto conclusions. do you even know when wasim started his career? he was beast from 85-89. the nineties had a plethora of bowlers to consider picking whose the best from....and to bring shoaib's name while we are comparing greats is a sin. just shows how little open minded you are......and lack enough knowledge

  • @IIXLNCII

and, shoaib akhtar never bowled a delivery 100milesplus through the years 1990-2000. paceman of the ninties and you mention shoaib bowling 100 lmao....you faggot dumb cunty piece of shit!!!!!! SHOAIB BOWLED 100MPH IN WORLD CUP 2003 FOR THE FIRST TIME..........you dumb piece of shit :)

  • @IIXLNCII

ps - wasim akram started out as a fast bowler. again, another fail on your part. he could bowl 94mph like it was his job......god i hate ppl like you.....i wish i could burn you alive. maybe sometime soon i will get to...now fuck off with your idiocracy. bitch.

  • @dilkashh wasim akram started out as a fast bowler...thats news to me...it really is. and thats when allan donald was shitting in his pants. allow me to educate u son...when u have an arguement on a forum like this one...it better be based on facts with evidence to back it up with...or else u'll make urself look like an ass. 4 weeks ago, u said...wasim akram was way too overrated for the years after 1995-2003. right?

wasim akram was the highest wicket taker in 99 world cup. suck my dick!

  • @IIXLNCII

get out of here son. if you think wasim wasn't a fast bowler you must be fucking joking. get out of here while you still can.

  • @dilkashh any bowler who can deliver a ball faster than 91 mph is considered a fast bowler...wasim akram was fast...allan donald was a quicker than him...and shoaib akhter was the FASTEST...its about pace aint it? even shahid afridi can ball 89 mph and he's usually a leg spinner. allan donald is nobody. stop worrying about me and work on your statistics.

  • infact, wasim akram was the highest wicket taker ever till murlitharan of srilanka surpassed it this year. wasim akram still stands second with 502 wickets. donald is number 17 with 272 wickets. fuck mcgrath, fuck ambrose, fuck donald and every other motherfucker you think is better than wasim akram...or faster than shoaib akhter's161 km/h (100 mph). FUCK YOU IF YOU DOUBT MY STATS...dont take my word for it...ask Gary Kristen...

  • @IIXLNCII

you headless cockroach! you transvestite fuck cunty!!!! GLENN MCGRATH IS THE HIGHEST WICKET TAKER FOR FAST BOWLERS......he has taken more wickets in tests than wasim. furthermore, shoaib chucked. secondly, michael holding was faster than shoaib. and i DO DOUBT YOUR STATS. you are a lying piece of shit.

  • @dilkashh lol mcgrath took more wickets in a test match...finally, we have an agreement. how many wickets donald has got? even shaun pollock had more wickets than him. i thought u said donald was the paceman of the decade if not the century. as far as shoaib goes...he began his international career in 96.that officially makes him a strong candidate for the paceman of the ninties. secondly wasim akram took 19 wickets in a 2003 world cup even though pakistan didnt qualify for the super six. beast!

  • @IIXLNCII

donald is the paceman of the 90s. after him glenn. before him curtly. before curtly, akram. before akram, the crazy ass line up of the windies and the aussies. before all of them.....harold larwood.....among many others. peace.

  • The last of the great West Indian bowlers. Still the scariest bowler I've ever seen on a cricket field, no one comes close.

  • You didn't need an umpire when Curtly was bowling..when he did his signature clap before the appeal, you knew that the batsman was plumb in front..

  • Thx Rob!

  • Supercool!

The one thing that he didn't achieve was a world cup victory. And what can be done to promote cricket more? T20!!! lol

  • Ah yes Curtly, my favourite fast bowler bar none. Back in his days I would save up money for an entire year just to afford the trip to the Caribbean to see him and Walsh blow away batsmen in Test matches. Those days seem so long ago now.

  • Awesome Vid, Rob the Man!,, You're a legend!!
