  • WOW, you have no idea how long I've been looking for an up-close reference of dragonfly mouthparts. THis was exactly what I needed, thanks!

  • Good camera work.

  • Say CHEEEEEESSSEEE!

  • lol an ad came up in time to the music - PBAM!

  • i remember seeing a blue dragonfly at camp one time up close.x33 I love that their heads look like that of a helicopter pilot's helmet/mask. xDD

  • 0:04 oh hai there!!

  • Their ends pulsate because it's how they breathe.

  • personally, the ones with the large pulsating back ends scare me :o

  • Nice shots :o)

  • They are all smiling for the camera

  • I noticed the dragonflies' eyes seem to shine in a manner simular to a semiprecious stone known as chrysoberyl, such shining of light is known as chatoyancy, but I don't think it is the same as we see here.

  • i would take an infestation of these guys rather than water moths any day

  • Now i see they're ugly.

  • @vanjastanic do you like mosquetos? because what im going to tell you will make you believe that dragonflies are the most beautiful insects on the planet, they EAT mosquetos!

  • I love how the blue one smiles at the camera.

  • Awsome video thanks for posting........Nature is amazing.....alot of people take it for granted......sometimes you have to stop and admire how beautiful nature is......

  • I LOVE dragonflies, they're my fave bugs! The person who filmed this did very well.

  • Great video. I love dragonflies

  • Okay ... Reminds me of Koontz "Phantoms" ... I sleep good tonight!! LOL

  • Very neat! You've certainly "captured" them!

  • Amazing!

  • It's funny how they took the form of a helicopter.

  • i like the music it make it funny

  • lol

  • Sorry, had to add something else. It'd be cute if each dragonfly had a voiceover, something to say. I don't know.

  • Whoa, the last one totally tripped me out. It's eyes changed. How does that happen?

  • I haven't found an explanation online, but I assume it's some kind of prism effect - reflecting light at different colors depending on the angle. It's a lot like the last shot on my "Hummingbirds" video -- the bird's throat isn't really red, but when it turns and the light hits it just right it looks like a brilliant red because there are prisms in those feathers.

  • That's pretty amazing. I really like how each close-up provides a quirky expression....almost. A slight turn of the head here, there. Smiles. Jaws chomping. It really as been an amazing video. Thank you so much for sharing.

  • @timvid or It simply could be reflection but it mightbe a prism effect.

  • @LtSunkissed That's just the reflection of the sun.

  • Amazing!

  • Amazing close-up and actions...
