I agree with alot of others this guy is a moron, if ya think its a fake build it yourself and see if it works or doesnt. But if ya look close the disk on top has magnets that are connected by copper wire, hence turning that whole top piece an electric magnet. And it also looks like he is using earth magnets which the small current is actually making the magnetic field STRONGER which will make it spin. Instead of sitting on youtube debunking videos do some searching and learn about MAGNETISM
Dude.... your a morron. Im not an electricle person, but even I know how this works. As for the way the disk appears to spin, its because of the FPS of the camera. Ever watched those news stories where a helo appears to be floating with no blade rotation? Same concept.

I can't say whether it's real, but certainly nothing about it is surprising from a physics standpoint. All generators work via motional emf. This one just has unusually low friction due to the magnetic levitation.
Anyone who likes to say it's against the laws of physics, i suggest you go to the 'New Scientist' website, and search for '13 things science cannot explain'..then see if you're still willing to rely on your assumptions.
Ha! so bad it's funny. How the deception runs very deep though! A man who has already done it will produce debunking video if he is smart and intent on keeping his skin.
I don't know if this video is genuine or hoaxed, but i CAN tell you, your evidence for trickery is flawed.
Where you think the device is spinning clockwise and then counter, is nothing more than an optical illusion caused by our eyes not being able to pick up faster spinning speeds properly. The exact same effect can be seen on an aeroplane's propeller. Many a time i've sat on a jetprop and marvelled at the propellers turning 'the wrong way'! It's a normal effect.
Great job soundrone! The effect is called "temporal aliasing". It is a bi product of not sampling at the Nyquist rate. You must sample a system at slightly greater than 2 times the highest frequency to avoid aliasing.
For stuff like walking, galloping horses, etc., no problem. Filmed images appear to move normally. But wheels move much faster than other objects, often faster than 24 times per second.
Picture a point on the wheel taking more than one revolution when the first picture is taken, starting at the 12 o'clock position, going around several times clockwise to the 11 o'clock for the second picture, to the 10 'clock position for the third, and so on. Run those pictures together, and it looks like the wheel is moving backward not forward. And if the wheel in question is being filmed at 24 FPS, and turning exactly once for every frame, it'll look like it's not even moving at all.
There's plenty off "free" energy all around us. Just look at solar power for istance, or geothermal energy. There must be an energy input of some sorts. That's just common sence, you don't need to want to sell oil for that.
I am in favor of new technologies and an end to oil. However, as an engineer I must point out that the laws of thermodynamics prohibit getting energy from nothing. I promise that you must put energy into a system to get energy out. Secondly, that energy is never infinite. Good day!
@trekgeek1 - How is it that the earth has been circling the sun for billions of years ... continuously?, (That is just rhetorical thinking.)
The laws change all the time, new elements are being created, and new theories form around those laws all the time, in fact those laws you use were recently re-written by Einstein as I am sure you know, dont you think those laws will be re-written again one day? Probably not from experimenting with magnets though.
Are you asking a question about the earth's orbit? Or are you quoting me? I don't think I ever said that phrase.
There is little to no friction in space, so the Earth isn't expending energy, i.e. its not losing any.
Laws do change all the time. But some laws are more fundamental. It seems that energy from nothing is pretty much proven to be impossible. If you got energy from nothing you would be creating energy which would increase the total amount of energy in the universe.
@trekgeek1 - No I was just "thinking out loud" so to speak. I think the most facinating thing about these "hoax videos" is the possibility of creating a super efficient magnetic electric generator for use in space which could beam the energy back to earth- The Japanese are investing billions in it right now. It is possible, and I still have a lot to learn but I certainly dont think this is fruitless. I think a good idea can come out of nowhere.
I think you got it wrong. Their investing in solar beamed power or electrodyamic tethers which are technically also powered by the sun. The are not going to send a retarted time looped video into space to beam power.
@trekgeek1 Actually, there is a hell of a LOT of friction in space. There are hundreds of thousands of tonnes of dust and particulates that impact Earth annually. Together with gravitational 'friction' from Solar and extra-solar bodies and let's not forget millions of tonnes of charged particles from good old Sol hitting our planet every year..and it all adds up to a fair bit of friction. Fundamental laws are fine for entrenched dogma types, not for innovators.
Relative to the kinetic and potential energy of the Earth there is little resistance. I agree that the forces you listed are present but not significant. Fundamental laws are proven and were once innovative. They are no longer innovative because they are common. I have nothing against coming up with new ideas, but rarely do new ideas violate well established theories. Some laws are proven wrong, but thermodynamics has been around for a while and is likely correct.
The huge tonnage of particulate matter and the rest mentioned above may be relatively insignificant when compared to the mass of the Earth, but the significance obviously increases over time...4.5 billion years is a significant amount of time, hence the effect becomes significant. One cannot apply ordered law to chaos. Undiscovered systems and methods are chaotic due to the inherent imponderables . Laws hold true today, until they're found wanting tomorrow, then are rewritten to reflect 'today'.
Umm you know that theories are different than physical laws. Physical laws are irrifutable as they would dramatericlaly alter everyday actions think of the wonder if a fridge could cool down earth with just energy input. Were would all the heat go well it would have to vanish out of existance breaking the laws of thermodynamics and then the universe is in for a very rough ride (Think +inf or abs zero in a snap)
@trekgeek1 Yes, when we are talking about CONVENTIONAL systems and methodologies, however we cannot know what physical laws apply to UNCONVENTIONAL systems as they are at present unknown, so cannot obviously be taught. No Uni, no college, no engineering school could have possibly taught atomic energy, before the methodologies had been discovered could they?
I believe it's just more of the same with OU. When we know, we'll all be taught that laws can be circumvented or just broken altogether.
Not mutch there to slow the movement down, so it doen't consume any energy. Also, plannets are quite havy, whitch means they don't excellerate/ decellerate easy. (sorry for my bad spelling)
@capthookutube Can you show me where he admitted that he faked it? The reason I ask is because I know for a fact that the concept works. It's really very simple. The issue with it moving clockwise and counter-clockwise has to do with the frame rate of the camera. Watch a helicopters blade on video and it does the same thing. You can easily build one of these and see it work for yourself.
I am new person here on the youtube. What is this words free energy mean? Why do peoples waste time of the loading to youtube crazy video if not working machine and false?
