isnt that the great thing about videos, though, you dont have to bug people with staring over their shoulder, but you still get a detailed look at how its made...i thinks smaller tablet would be fine.

Man Fred, that is great. What tablet are you using? I was looking at two different ones that have the LCD screen and don't know if I should spend the extra $200 for the larger screen and active area or just go with the $999 smaller one. I need to find Hawk's post over at Applegeeks and see what he said he was using.

I was so excited to see you post a rant that you were uploading a video! I've always wanted to stand over the shoulder of my favorite artists as they drew, and this is the next best thing. I adore your art and I've been following MegaTokyo for quite a long time... probably only ever posted a comment on your blogs once or twice though. (: I guess I just don't know what to say! But anyway, this is a neat video and I love your art. You have so much depth in each panel!

And people complain when you take too long to post a new comic. It is such a long process. Thank god you take the time to make sure the comic is done correctly. I can't even imagine what would happen if Dom decided to take his time with his torturous scribbles!

it is very cool to see how you draw and everything but at the same time, it would be nice to have some sound in the back. some kind of music or even comentary would be nice. just something to keep the veiwer watching all the way through.

Your vids could use some background music. Like some of your Ambient stuff. Though I enjoyed watching, I almost fell asleep b/c it was so quiet. Anyway, it's about the process not entertainment so...

You know what you are, Fred? You are such a perfectionist that you don't realize how vastly your drawing talent has improved since MT started. Ping has always been my favorite, since she is usually so unpredictable, yet fun to watch.

Well, at A-Kon, I asked Haque to upload more videos of him drawing and coloring, but instead I got one from Fred. That's badass. After seeing how meticulous each panel is, I'm surprised there's even two comics a week. You must exhaust yourself every week! Keep on keeping on with an amazing comic that's had me reading every day for eight years.

Whether stylus or mouse I am just grateful that Megatokyo is in Fred's capable hands and not drawn by a team of Doms with "Trackballs of Doom". (Take that "TV Tropes Wiki"!)

What were your brush settings for this? It looks like using black for the color with the opacity and maybe the flow are knocked down some.
