This is the exact version that I have with the bigger battery and blue tooth (paid $300) Just hit 1 year mark, and I had to send it in to replace the DC jack and AC adapter. HDD started to fail this morning too.

thats odd what system you have before xp ? very strange as a relitive of mine has one had xp on it no probs did notice the volume was terribly low even when set to full .now have win7 on it and it also runs grand maybe its a prob with the computer :O

ive had it for 48 hrs now and so far the "big red machine" is going strong.

i've got one (xp version). However I changed the hdd to another one and installed the windows 7 RC (ultimate). No drivers needed, everything works fine. It seems faster than the XP even with the Aero. To be honest I haven't installed any antivir yet.. the XP was with comodo

Even though I didn't understand most of the speech, this was a good demo, clearly showing the details of the computer.

One thing: Don't pull out a battery from a computer while it's on, or you'll crash it's hard disk - I had to fix a machine that (luckily) endured such treatment.
