Did you say interstate commerce is reserved for the states???? Isn't it reserved for the federal government under the "Commerce Clause".

No I don't believe I said that. Interstate Commerce is delegated to the Federal Government (its in the Constitution), giving it the power to expand its reach into areas of interstate issues (trucking, railroads, anti trust, ICC) It actually can sometimes overlap into state reserved powers...........

Dude, you're awesome! Just be a bit careful about calling Jefferson an Anti-fed because he wasn't. He was a Fed who later became a Republican because he couldn't stand Hamilton's policies.
