  • Now come check out my 70.2 MPH run up in Mammoth this past season... NOBODY'S passing me! If anything, I'm blowing past them like they're standing still! LOVE my Burton Custom Wide 166!!! Keep on shredding bradda!

  • Oh God where did you find this? That was so looong ago even I forgot I had it up! haha Well, I agree with you... though I' ll still keep it to look back on. Cheers and appy shredding.

  • ur bamf JK

  • People dont understand how fast that actually is on a snowboard. I broke my record yesterday and it was in the low 60's and I thought is was going to a lot faster. And it takes a set of nuts to just poiint and go. Garantee that all the people on here that say they can go 75 or whatever are posers.

  • this trail looks fast enough for 40mph tops

  • looks on videos are deceiving. all trails on video look easier and slower than in real life

  • Especially on big mountain runs.

  • @drow5001 if he was going sixty he would have been smoking a bunch of the skiers on that hill, i max out around sixty on an icy smooth day at my hill on 193's waxed to snow temp

  • HOSTIIIII c Tremblant!!! Montagne de fou ça!!! Ma préférée c'est le Vertige pis Zig Zag, rush de fou descendre ça!!!

  • hmmm! never been on zig zag. will try it. Expo I hear is good which I may try this weekend. Happy shredding. Cheers...

  • Tremblant is badass but the only prob is that it closes at like what.. 4PM..??

like any other big mountain I guess..

too bad though since I'm a night person. Bromont all the way!!!

  • I go to both actually! Split a day here and a day there on w/e. Tremblant is just awesome cause it has all kinds of big mountain, mix runs for all type riding. I like Bromont cause it's groomed 3 times a day, open late and has the smaller more fun/family mountain personality. I'm an early bird though, so both work for me. Cheers...

  • lol both wow I wish I was rich too!!

I have my Bromont season pass. 178$ crazy good price value. Tremblant is like what 72$ for the day? ouch

  • on another note, 100 km/h eh. aside from and iPhone, how you would tell you're going that fast?

I'm asking cause I love to go fast myself. I have a Nitro Pantera; very rigid board too!! I have no means of calculating my speed though...

Your vid is kinda shaky, it's hard to gauge myself.

  • Haha! I wish I was rich as well! :) What I have for tremblant is a T-66 pass which gives you 66 FREE days almost every or every other weekend. For Bromont I get from sports store on discount. Costs much less than at window.

As for GPS, I really can't confirm to be honest if reading was accurate. I knwo it was fast, but then again.. that is a relative word.

I'm working on some new vid soon with wide lense. I hope it will show these runs better.

    Cheers bud...

  • pfffff ski passes here and there, Burton T6... ur a spoile rich sonova loll

no but seriously, is the T6 worth all the 800$ hype? Is like ''omfg this board is pure sex''

I just bought my Pantera for 300$.. just wondering how soon I'd want to move onto a T6 or Vapor or wtv.

  • @fredericp64 I've had three T6's now since Burton gives me a free upgrade every time something cosmetic goes wrong with them. In fact, they just upgraded me to a new T7 (I pay $25 shipping) so that's FOUR new Burton boards (across 4 seasons). I LOVE this company - their customer service is unbeatable. Now on to the board itself.... EXTREMELY fast base. On the flats (where everyone is going straight down the fall line), I pass EVERYONE... skiiers, boarders, even people tucking. I love it

  • @fredericp64 You know man, speeds like this are very difficult to be accurate. The GPS systems are flawed in many ways to caculate speed. I had one last year and it said I was going like 85mph or something crazy. (INCORRECT) I know what 85 feels like cause in the summer I ride bikes. I am a cop and I kind of got an extra radar gun and I am going to use it this year. I am going to make a vid w the shot.

  • where is this run? looks really sweet, I must try it.

  • Tremblant! This particular trail is like an airport runway on a mountain. :) You have a looong straight strip after that steep push to take a breath. Mountain is sick.

  • haha wow jokes, thats not even that far from me, and im definitely going there this season at somepoint, do you remeber the trail name? or would you if you saw it on a trail map, I dont know tremblant that well I dont usually go there. but Id love to check out this run for sure

  • Nice! The trail is called Kandahar (#22) on the south side. Most of the times though, the Tremblant Ski team is training on it! It's that good. You can see it on the trail map, it's a just a straight sick black diamond drop right off the gandola. The north side is AWSOME in the morning. Have a run called Geant (my favorite) and an extreme level one called EXPO (will try this year). Good luck.

  • I use a GPS application for iPhone that actually maps your track on the trail while recording your speed. It's not 100% accurate. So I usually check if the top speed matches where I recall was going the fastest. I have doen speed checks almost every week and 61 mph seems to be consistant with wha tI have been recording so far. I hope this helps.

  • One question comes to mind... how did you measure your speed?
