The reason the Wii version of Twilight Princess is opposite to the GCN version of it is because more people favor using their right hand to fight sword combat. So it would be better for people who are right handed to play the Wii version.

lmao, lol, this only works on the Wii, im glad i got my Gamecube version, its no diefference to the Wii one, me and my friend where comparing them (he has the game on wii) and there both the same except...the Wii has MORE glitches and problems and the Wii maybe is unusual (its backwards) kakariko has ALWAYS been on the east not on the west.
I was saving my Game save file incase they fixed this glitch but now I found out that it's corrupt. I had error code 110213 (internal hardware problem) Nintendo sends you a replacement but all saved game files are corrupt. I'm not too happy about all this.
When Nintendo finally fixes this bug I want them to fix it in such a way that I can physically beat the shit out of Shad. Unlike other nonplayables, I want the weapons to connect instead of passing through. I want to see blood spatter from his face, and I want to see him collapse on the ground twitching in pain. I'd also like to shove him into that cannon and fire him into the ceiling complete with a Moral Kombat-style shower of red droplets and nerd fragments raining from the ceiling.
This pisses me off. I ran into the bug today, January 7th, and called Nintendo to complain. They said they know about the bug but don't yet have a resolution. What the hell? This video was posted on December 12th; that's plenty of time to get a fix. It's time for Nintendo to release a patch through WiiConnect, send out new discs, or release an exe utility to allow the user to transfer the save file to an SD card and then to the PC. This is taking too damn long.

It proves a time when the issue became known. Earlier videos show dates of 11/28. If half a dozen people were angry enough to create and post a video then at least one would have called Nintendo's Nintendo's 1-800 line. So what if it's not cheap to replace the discs. They released a broken product so it's their responsibility to fix it. I'm sure it was expensive for Firestone to replace all of those bad tires, but that didn't excuse them from the obligation of righting their wrong.
Games always have glitches (if you can search them) But I agree they should fix that because its not so small thing but not that huge either. Dunno, they could release patch afterall they have Wiiconnect24 but maybe they didnt desing the game to accept patches

FIrst, Go to the north western part of hyrule and follow the path, on the right side there should be a ledge, climb it and talk to the goron. Then Kill the moblins and go through the door at the north side, talk to the old lady and she'll give you a charm, Show her the dominion rod. She will give you the sky book.
Second, go to the shamans hut in Kakariko village, show Ilia the charm, she'll get her memory back.She'll give you the charm. This charm will let u call the horse (not sayin epona cuz u can change the name).
my bro found a glitch like this in Arbiters Grounds. He spun the walls so he couldn't get back to the room you have to go to to get the boss key before he got the boss key, and you can't re-spin it. So he had to start a new game.
eeemmm, i know where spot are u talking about...and there is solution, there is a clawshot panel on the celling above that wall, on the entrance tht you're talking about...chek it out...
While this is a known quirk in the game, unfortunately, we have no fix for it at this time. You will need to begin their game from the beginning, or restart from an earlier save file (there are three save files on the game that you can use).

Sorry about the double post, but if you do not have many bombs and it does in fact work (someone try it), you could put the Zora armour on to receive twice the normal damage.
I dunno if this would work, but could you try to commit suicide by using bombs, then continue when you die? Normally, i would take you to the beginnin of the room, i.e. up at the top...?

Has anyone considered or tried using Action Replay to get out of the room? I personally haven't tried it yet as I am not at that part yet so not sure if it would work but there is like the moon jump code that might work or form switch to force yourself into wolf form, etc...
Oh my god!!! Thats a really bad glitch! that could ruin everything you've done. i already beat the game. its a good thing i didn't save and reset or whetever you did to make that happen. Just to let you know i only turned off my Wii twice while playing that game so i played for almost three days straight until i beat it.
I have about 30 hours in this game, and I too am stuck in this room. I tried to get out for about 2.5 hours, but to no avail. I usually alternate saves, but with the 3 slot limit, and 2 other people in the house playing, I didnt have that option. I really wish someone would figure this out, so I don't have to start over...

Have you ever tried positioning yourself at the spot right before you that guy asks you where you're going, and then putting a bomb right behind you, and then let the explosion from the bomb take you up?

Usually your vids are pretty good, other than the quality link. But this vid was pretty damn drawn out... I mean, you could have gotten the point across within 4 minutes or less, but you just kept going on and on about how he wasnt there.. And how he was just standing at that one area.
This reminds me of the first Zelda on Nintendo. The save feature was so terrible u'd b on labyrinth 9 and someone would brush by the console it would turn off or reset and u'd lose all saved info. That personally happened to me twice. Once on labyrinth 9 the other on 5. Once on a link to the past a freind (not after that day) erased my save points. Y I have no idea.
It happened to me :( Isn't there anyone, like the game developers, that can help? Put in a code or create a new save point with my info. I got 46 poes, 15 hearts, all the hidden skills, and all the bugs (giant wallet). All that time that they delayed the release u'd think they'd catch this.

i was so close to saving my game at that point. i dident no where to warp the cannon to, so i pickd some locations at random. on my last try, i told myself i would go 2 sleep if i dident figure it out. luky me, i piked the right spot. this is so late in the game, it would be horrable to have to start over!
that could of suck.. starting all over the game um MASTERLINKX what would happen if you save from the cannon but you dont save and quit, and then you repair the cannon, then you launch ot the sky and your in that area and you save and quit there?
Then everything is fine... the problem comes when you save there and load, and the guy is loaded somewhere else (probably where he used to be before you find the cannon)

Pressing the speak button makes Midna speak.

No. Nintendo responded to the glitch. PAL and GC versions aren't affected so it's safe to save in the cannon room on GC.

You can't continue once you die, you start from your last saved file, which would put you back in that room with no way out.

I can't believe ppl r still asking if u "tried this or that" When ur stuck in this glitch u try EVERYTHING. I would have to take up a whole page if i listed all the thing i tried. Get into the glitch urself and try stuff. Some of the things posted r things u would try in the first 5 min

Have you ever tried positioning yourself at the spot right before you that guy asks you where you're going, and then putting a bomb right behind you, and then let the explosion from the bomb take you up?

one question: the gc and the wii are different ( mirror on map and everything ) or just it's your camera? because the intro ( well everthing ) is mirrored...

there is a way out, there is a glitch that lets you warp from anywere even if there is people (does not work in dungions.)

Usually your vids are pretty good, other than the quality link. But this vid was pretty damn drawn out... I mean, you could have gotten the point across within 4 minutes or less, but you just kept going on and on about how he wasnt there.. And how he was just standing at that one area.

Maybe you have to try to hide behind some stones or rocks and then try to teleport yourself (not tha cannon)

Its actually easy to fix that glitch and anyone who says otherwise is lieing
first wait untill a newer version is released where that bug is fixed, load up your saved file and there you go everythign should be fixed

This reminds me of the first Zelda on Nintendo. The save feature was so terrible u'd b on labyrinth 9 and someone would brush by the console it would turn off or reset and u'd lose all saved info. That personally happened to me twice. Once on labyrinth 9 the other on 5. Once on a link to the past a freind (not after that day) erased my save points. Y I have no idea.

It happened to me :( Isn't there anyone, like the game developers, that can help? Put in a code or create a new save point with my info. I got 46 poes, 15 hearts, all the hidden skills, and all the bugs (giant wallet). All that time that they delayed the release u'd think they'd catch this.

If you press "A" to speak in that moment it will speak to Midna even if you never press the D-pad.

i was so close to saving my game at that point. i dident no where to warp the cannon to, so i pickd some locations at random. on my last try, i told myself i would go 2 sleep if i dident figure it out. luky me, i piked the right spot. this is so late in the game, it would be horrable to have to start over!

that could of suck.. starting all over the game um MASTERLINKX what would happen if you save from the cannon but you dont save and quit, and then you repair the cannon, then you launch ot the sky and your in that area and you save and quit there?

Then everything is fine... the problem comes when you save there and load, and the guy is loaded somewhere else (probably where he used to be before you find the cannon)
