Jade, it's not that the bass is too big for you, it's that someone with big hands, like me, is supposed to have an easier time reaching the notes. But you play the notes spot on so it's perplexing that I struggle to play and yet you dance all over the fret board. It's actually a compliment to you that you are so skillful with a "disadvantage", which, as you've pointed out, isn't a disadvantage if you are an excellent player. I enjoy watching you play. A good way to start w/ the drums is to pick up a bongo drum. It helps with getting the rhythm. I doesn't really translate to a drum set, though. Years ago, I had a bongo drum and my cousin had a drum set. I just couldn't work the foot into the rhythm. Maybe, like u said, I just need to give it another go. I don't see myself doing that anytime soon, but that's just me. Also, in regards to ppl saying u're too small for the bass, u should pick up a stand up bass just to say f#ck off lol.
