Wow, I don't know why everyone needs to bash either Adam or Kris.  I think they were both great, just different.

LOL Kris hit an A4 at his top here while Adam Lambert hit C#5 effortlessly in natural voice NOT FALSETTO, on the same song, around 6 notes higher. Way to go lowering the key for Kris and he couldn't hit it without struggling anyway.

@captivityhurts Kris is a baritone . Adam's a tenor that's why adam has such ease. Baritone's usually can only belt up to F4.

There ranges aren't so far about , adam can obviously go higher and Kris can go low with ease.

Kris live range is E2-C5. Adam's is B2-Bb5. both equal to about 3 octaves.

Mocking Kris not being able to hit a C#5 is like mocking a midget for not being able to slam dunk.

And this is coming from a huge adam fan.

but adam didnt scream, he has a powerful voice and an awesome vocal range

I find both versions refreshing. You can definitely tell that Kris has a great voice for country. Adam on the other hand has a great rock and roll voice that can be compared to Freddy Mercury, Sammy Hagar, and other great rock stars of the 80's. I really like Kris for his boy next door, good ol' boy attitude. Adam is just a humble guy who has an amazing range in my opinion.
