  • When we lived in OC CA we had a Praying Mantis that use to hang just outside our door, on the wall. I got to where I could pet it and it would just sit there and when I would come home, the PM was there and would pet it. It sure like eating all those stupid bugs that would come by.

It got to a point where it would rotate its head when I was there and turn its head when I would pet it. We called ours NORMAN.

  • kevin i know a vegetarian that wont care as much as u....

    like bezerker sadi its nature

  • lol @ its kicking little legs

  • kevinb2055 you are stupid bugs are ivertabrates and do not feel pain.

  • Ah! Gentle reader, do not be mislead by him. Bugs can, in fact feel pain. Bugs do, in fact, possess a nervous system what allows them to keep track of their environment, including their general physical well being; invertebrate simply means they lack a spinal column.

But, that being said, who cares? Locusts have been a threat to human well-being on a large scale for centuries. That Mantis is protecting US!

    GO PREACHER BUG!

  • Yikes!!! That's just wrong!!! If you're gonna eat me, at least kill me first. She just ate the poor victim at her leisure with no concern for his/her pain and protest. Just wrong!!!

  • its a fuckin bug mate, its not the got the brain power to care, and its nature, get over it!

  • i dont htink he meant it literally.

  • freak

  • I know--that's the weird part is that it IS nature. If there is a God, he is one twisted freak.

  • RAPE!!!

  • I never want to be eaten alive.

  • Now that's what I call a fixed match... LOL

  • sweet locust cranium

  • that crap. that aint like nature. thats mean

  • lol

  • I once found a praying mantis in the schoolyadr! It was awesome!

  • that aint nature

  • That's right, nature's CRUEL! She started the struggle for survival, and now the tree-huggers are crying because we're winning!

  • who's 'we' freakshow? if you think destroying our environment can be written off as our 'struggle for survival', you are very very ignorant. Tree huggers are crying b/c people are smart enough to create sustainable economies, but are too easily led by people profiting from immediate and unsustainable growth. Fishermen know if they fish too much, their kids will need to find a different job. Nature and science are immune to our morality and only react to our actions.

  • CRUEL!

  • that was interesting..

  • hey no fair that guy held him back!!!

  • praying mantises are the coolest insects!

  • 2 vs 1!
