I was looking up another song by the same title and came across this song by accident. I started crying when I heard it. So many of these lyrics were things my man had already told me, to hear them in a song... was amazing. Yes darling, you are the love of my life...

@dragonflysabound I feel the exact same way, but on a bit of a smaller scale... This girl I loved with all of my heart...I pushed her away. We always talked about marriage and our future together; kids, nice cars, supporting our families.
But after knowing her for 6-7 years and being with her most of that time, she has just recently called everything off and gotten with another guy. It kills me daily and hearing songs like this makes it all the harder to not cry and want to give up. Praying...

Whenver I hear this song, I think of Tom; We played this at our wedding, March 5th 1998, and even though he has passed away, the day before my birthday... I will always hold it dear to my heart, like my memories of him, He was the most wonderful man, there will never be another like him. He was the love of my life.

The first time I heard this song was the day I brought my daughter home from the hospital, she is my first and I was only 19 and just held her and cried, she truly saved my life, I was going down the wrong path. I've told her the story about this song and now when she hears it she cries. She and now her little brother are the loves of MY life. She will be 10 in Feb. Awesome song!!
