@mrAlexanderchannel I have watched all the other news channels, and on every important topic FOX news always has both sides represented in discussions. They allow both sides equal time to speak. Every other channel only reports what the president approves of, never anything that might tarnish the president. When they have panels with both sides represented they insult and degrade those that are not on the left. There is no discussion, seldom is ever anything more than shouting and insults.
@mrAlexanderchannel I tend to go to european newspapers to read what they report on the incidents and what views their editors have on the issues here. They are often more in line with FOX reporting and analysis then all the others.

@lonestar2078 I was impressed with how the Spanish handled government assistance. When receiving it you were required to work, if handicapped or retired they would have you work in a Kiosk. If young and healthy you cleaned public areas, streets, parks ect. Of course you were also required upon turning 18 to either serve in the military or in public service jobs for two years. It would never work here because you were not paid a wage.

Oh what I think? I think its awesome that conservatives are typically discriminated against in the entertainment business. It just so happens that conservatives are generally less entertaining and funny than liberals. Ratings matter and....I don't blame them for not risking it.

Being bigoted specifically means that you are prejudiced to think opposing opinions are always incorrect, without even considering them. To stereotype someone means to simply group them with a certain set of characteristics, based on previous observations. It would be discrimination if he met all qualifications and they refused him anyway for some reason that was no fault of his own. In actuality, the only qualification was for the people at the Daily Show to WANT to have him be a guest. They didn't, so they had no obligation to give him an appearance.

Rational thinking people don't consider one opinion from one mis-guided Hollywood Executive damming evidence that the entertainment industry is biased. Only conservative simpletons like Crowder find a small insignificant sample of information and mark it as the undeniable proof that supports their weak political narrative. Hollywood will tell anybody’s story in an entertaining form, left or right. Politics don't matter as long as it’s going to be a blockbuster.
...Additionally; for you to call Crowder a "conservative simpleton" without actually addressing any particular philosophy or ideology that Crowder advocates doesn't really bode well for your own intellectual image. He may have different viewpoints, but at least he generally fleshes them out. If he disagrees with someone else's philosophy, he's a big enough man to challenge those ideas based on the merits of the argument.
Since Crowder is capable of presenting 'the other philosophical side' so succinctly, he can mix it up and use satirical content in much the same manner as Stewart. This would lend credence to liberal opposition and Stewart's audience would likely start to get angry and default to ad-hominem; much like what you've done here. Crowder won't ever be on Stewart's show because it would further expose the fact that the show is oversimplifying complex debate for COMEDIC purposes.
Now that Crowder started whining like a school girl this morning on FOX News about getting a rejection letter from The Daily Show and then gave FOX permission to only quote a small part of his rejection letter on the air, Jon Stewart might want to book Crowder just to set the record straight and publically humiliate him. Crowder simply doesn’t have the intellect to go head-to-head with Jon Stewart. It will be a classic pro vs amateur ass whipping.

Surprisingly, I think Crowder discovered his shortcomings all on his own. This has got nothing to do with ideological bias. The email he received from the Daily Show was a POLITE rejection. Crowder won’t be able to get mass public exposure that easily. Stewart is just not that impressed with Crowder. I will put my money on the theory that Jon Stewart let Crowder down very gently because, as a guest, he doesn't meet the standards of the show and they don’t want to book his lame ass.

At 7:00 is the perfect example why many comedians like you, you know, the conservative ones, might have a problem to get promoted. What could have been a good laugh at the end of this video was made into a lame excuse for a joke. Are you afraid that people don't get it when you make a joke about yourself? You advertise anything with your timing, hey, now I am being serious, and now, recognize the different timing, I am making a funny.
Its terrible and it is a pattern in conservative "comedy"

@mrAlexanderchannel I have watched all the other news channels, and on every important topic FOX news always has both sides represented in discussions. They allow both sides equal time to speak. Every other channel only reports what the president approves of, never anything that might tarnish the president. When they have panels with both sides represented they insult and degrade those that are not on the left. There is no discussion, seldom is ever anything more than shouting and insults.

@lonestar2078 I was impressed with how the Spanish handled government assistance. When receiving it you were required to work, if handicapped or retired they would have you work in a Kiosk. If young and healthy you cleaned public areas, streets, parks ect. Of course you were also required upon turning 18 to either serve in the military or in public service jobs for two years. It would never work here because you were not paid a wage.

Being bigoted specifically means that you are prejudiced to think opposing opinions are always incorrect, without even considering them. To stereotype someone means to simply group them with a certain set of characteristics, based on previous observations. The fact that I don't think steven is funny even though I agree with a few of his viewpoints means just that...I don't think he's funny.

If they disagree with your views and they don't want you touting them on their program, they have every right to refuse your request to do so. @ichrammsteinfan First of all, they never claimed not to discriminate. Second of all, it's a moot point because as I pointed out before, this is not discrimination. It would be discrimination if he met all qualifications and they refused him anyway for some reason that was no fault of his own. In actuality, the only qualification was for the people at the Daily Show to WANT to have him be a guest. They didn't, so they had no obligation to give him an appearance.

And that is fine, As Crowder says in a follow up to this vid where he talks about Stewrat getting mad about his exposing their bias. They can be as biased as the want to. The letter you received was a kind turn-down. Its one of those letters saying, you're not the person that meets our credentials. It wasn't anything about you being an actual conservative because if you watch the Daily Show alot of conservatives get on and make valid points with Stewart.

Rational thinking people don't consider one opinion from one mis-guided Hollywood Executive damming evidence that the entertainment industry is biased. Only conservative simpletons like Crowder find a small insignificant sample of information and mark it as the undeniable proof that supports their weak political narrative. Hollywood will tell anybody’s story in an entertaining form, left or right. Politics don't matter as long as it’s going to be a blockbuster.

Since Crowder is capable of presenting 'the other philosophical side' so succinctly, he can mix it up and use satirical content in much the same manner as Stewart. This would lend credence to liberal opposition and Stewart's audience would likely start to get angry and default to ad-hominem; much like what you've done here. Crowder won't ever be on Stewart's show because it would further expose the fact that the show is oversimplifying complex debate for COMEDIC purposes.

I dunno, Crowder is a pretty smart dude. I think you might be confusing linguistic craftiness with actual intellect. Just because someone can sound smart (ie: "witty") doesn't necessarily mean they have the capabilities of deep or particularly complex critical thinking. I believe this is precisely why Stewart doesn't want him on the show: he knows Crowder doesn't comfortably fit into his typical 'conservative/redneck/crazy christian' stereotype that gets his audience chuckling

Surprisingly, I think Crowder discovered his shortcomings all on his own. This has got nothing to do with ideological bias. The email he received from the Daily Show was a POLITE rejection. Crowder won’t be able to get mass public exposure that easily. Stewart is just not that impressed with Crowder. I will put my money on the theory that Jon Stewart let Crowder down very gently because, as a guest, he doesn't meet the standards of the show and they don’t want to book his lame ass.

wow, this was pretty stupid. there might be bias in the media, i don't know. but "proving" it with that email is plain stupid. it seems like this steven guy wanted to be a "guest" in the Daily Show (as the email goes: "unfortunately not the right GUEST for us.). The Daily Show then politely said that you're not up our alley (or class for that matter). True, the email had a stupid sentence about never booking conserv. pundits but anyone watching the Dail. Show knows that it's not true.

Let's not even talk about bigotry. There's only a very small percentage of liberals that don't throw around 'slurs' (be it racial or sexual) when they think they're in 'safe company'. I know tons of liberals that are far more bigoted than even my most conservative friends. Bigotry knows no party line (statistical evidence supports this). I do agree though, ignorance is definitely something to be ashamed of; ignorance that is, like the type you've just displayed.

I can't think of too many religions (or countries for that matter) that are friendly towards homosexuality. Seems your problem is with the church- not a particular political ideology. Most devout christians still love the person, just detest what they view as the 'sin'.
