Yu Yu Hakusho is fantastic - it has NOTHING to do with the year. And you don't need to go around labelling anime or its quality by when it happened to have been made. >_>

I like the fighting arena scenes, the one who has x3 eyes really can fight while flying through air. I remember the touching scene where he has to rescue his long lost sis in another kingdom.

When I was little I was too young to understand Yu Yu Hakoshu and some of the material in it so I watched it sparringly. But even so I could still remeber the opening, 1,2,4 endings quite well. Now I'm older and understand/appreciate it alot better now! It really is a great anime!
@Broller3 Because the actual directors of the anime put first the visual thing over all the other really good stuff like history, fights, inteligence and a long etc...

Right on! It sounds really annoying after a while... this music has a more mature feel to it with the say they sing it which is great! Sometimes listening to those other themes where they're sounding like mice, it makes me wonder why I'm even listening to it. -_-'

the last episode that i seen was that redhead was trying to pass the test and he did. the teacher changes his answer, making like he fail. and the green suit dude was trying to help him, even though it was not alive anymore. but i will tell ya, that was pretty low.
