@14littledude to play as Luigi whenever you want to you have to beat the final boss. After that, where you start out once you beat a level or something like that, go down and fall off the platform. There should be a door that has a L over it, walk in and you'll be Luigi

You were quite fortunate with Green Star 2. The hit detection for Mario/Luigi on the Star Ball is very weird. So I used to try to get GS2 too quickly, and it would look like Luigi went right through it before falling to his death.

If you look REALLY closely at 6:08, you can see the green star. good job!

PS does anyone know if it's possible to get damaged while on the star ball? cuz of not, why have any goombas? all they do is give coins

@tyradinoquartz Not with normal enemies, but flying ones like bullet bills and lava balls could probably.

When you roll over the goombas they make you bounce a little and go to one side, which can put people off or throw them off the path.

@tyradinoquartz the goombas are there mainly to disoriantate you by bouncing you around... Also just there for the satisfaction of squishing them.

If you watch closely at the end screen, you can see the chomp rolling ITSELF off the stage trying to get your green star, lol.
