You know, I didn't get why Minardi was much beloved till I went to my first race Indianapolis. During the practice days I found out really quickly why they were universally beloved. Every other team had a massive veil of security and secrecy around their cars, and here was Minardi not only letting people into the garage but actually showing people what their computers did, touch the car, putting the youngsters behind the wheel, friendliest bunch at the track
Well done! I miss Minardi. They will always be my favorite formula 1 team. I was lucky enough to see them score points in person at Indianapolis in 2005.
i was fortunate to see the minardi team in australia from 1985 to 1995,they were the good days

Good tribute video for Minardi!
They closed the gap to Jordan in their final season and I was at Monza when the remains of the team had their magic week-end in 2008.
