  • but the government[Taxpayers] will subsidize the volt so it will be less than $40K giveing consumers around $7K credits

again the taxpayers bailing out GM so it will sell

  • People who are interested in "eco" cars are not willing to spend $40K to $48K for a Chevy Volt. The starting price for a new Toyota Prius is $21K.

Nissan has a superior upcoming car that gets an "equivalent" of 367 mpg, and it's called the Nissan Leaf.

  • why is the aspect ratio so screwed up?

  • Engineers designed the car, some geek uploaded the video.

  • Chevy can't even figure out how to upload a video with the correct aspect ratio on youtube, I can't imagine they'll build a great electric car.

  • Building a great electric car has nothing to do with uploading a video to youtube. I realize you probably don't care because you want to hate GM anyway, but if you try to bash the company at least do it logically. Oh, and GM has already built several great electric cars, so I don't see why this will be any different.

  • I'm just saying, you'd think that a multi-billion dollar company with a huge marketing department could handle getting the aspect ratio correct on one of their videos. I realize youtube uploading skills and building a car are two different things.

Are you talking about their great electric car that they repossessed and destroyed? I want the Volt to be a good car, the US needs to do a lot of catching up in the industry. I don't think bailing out failed companies will do much help though.
