@DamienTheOstler Yes it should work, just make sure you have the SDK downloaded in your computer. Which includes the API, headers, and so forth.

@groobz101 First make sure its the professional version of visual studio or else you won't see the template. Then once you know you have the professional edition download the windows mobile sdk. Search online for it. If you don't have professional version they finally have a visual studio 2010 mobile express edition in which you can also develop games for the mobile phone.

You can develop for Windows Phone devices on Visual Studio 2010. Visual Studio 2008 supports Windows Mobile.

@leonblackhack666 Is it express, standard or professional. If it is the express editions you can not create mobile applicaitons. Hope that helps, if not try to download the latest microsoft mobile sdk from the website just google it.

Which SDK did you install on VS2008?

@XSpt This one comes with visual studio 2008 professional, but won't be available in visual studio 2008 express or standard editions. But their is something similar in the express editions of visual studio 2010 go check it out on their official web site.
