For a beginner's Yo-yo this is really good for getting down basic tricks. It can loop fairly well and can do basic string tricks. Barrel Rolls, Split the Atom, Brain Twister, Zipper. Will not recommend it for trying the trapeze though. Landing the yoyo on the string from a trapeze often causes it to go crooked or stop... It's response also weakens as the lube from stock condition wears off...

I modified my old Yomega with three little steel weights spaced evenly apart in each half. I had to use a little extra lubrication, but the thing spun forever, at least compared to what it did originally. I've since lost it, which is really upsetting. You need a good heavy, well balanced yo-yo.

No, it uses the Yomega Transaxle system. And you can see it loses a lot a spin but it doesn't come back up.
